I bought this adaptor for a sigma quantaray 135 mm f2.8 Minolta mount and it was a perfect fit. It's a good quality adaptor that has allowed me to bring new life to old Minolta Len's I own. I would definitely recommend if you want to utilize old Minolta lens.

I have a number of Fotasy adapters for various mounts and generally been happy with them, but this one is a disappointment. The one I received is hard to mount to most Minolta lenses; it fits the Minolta bellows with fewer issues, but the lenses are a different matter. That's not all, though, because once mounted, the lens is over-rotated (the center mark is not perfectly vertical.) This isn't really an issue except with the bellows — the camera ends up being un-level, and I have to compensate by tilting the tripod head. This is probably nothing more than sample variance, and the one you get may be perfectly fine (most of the rest of mine are.) On this one, though, they dropped the ball.

I bit difficult to put on the adapter to the lens at first because I was trying to protect my lens, but once you hear the click it feels sturdy and good quality. It fits my fuji x mount perfectly

I have bought 4 of the Fotasy adapters for Fujifim-X and have been very pleased with the value. The bayonet fittings on the X-mount side have been consistently high quality and smooth to attach. It's sometimes surprising which legacy lenses perform well/poorly on the APSC digital sensor, but that has nothing to do with the brand of adapter. Fuji's magnified focus aid/optional focus peaking are surprisingly easy for manual focus. Some minor defects that keep me from giving the 5th star: The OM-lens bayonet is VERY tight although usable. The FD-lens adapter has a rotating ring to enable aperture stop down; but the labeling confuses me and it's easy to bump by mistake. Otherwise these adapters are a great way to dip a toe into vintage lens fun.

I purchased a Fotsay Minolta MD, Canon FD, and Nikon F mount to Fuji X-Mount adapter for use on my Fujifilm X-T20 and my opinion is the same on all three, so I am using the same review for all three. These Fotsay adapters work just as well as the higher priced adapters. Sure, they may lack some fancy anodized trim, and rely on textured metal grips instead of a rubber grip, but in terms of adaptability, I've had no issues. Each of these adapters mounts correctly to my X-T20 and each classic lens I've used and I've had no issues. The lenses and the adapter are neither too tight to get stuck, or too loose to fall off or cause light leaks. Since none of these have any optical elements in them, there is no degradation in image quality, and they all focus to infinity correctly.Of course, you need to set the camera to work with no lens (I forget the setting in the camera, but its in the manual) and you need to set the camera to Manual focus, but I find the focus peaking feature of the X-T20 to work really well with these adapters and manual focus lenses. In a nutshell, you can spend more (sometimes a lot more) on other brands adapters, and get a nicer looking one that maybe has a nicer grip, or save yourself some money and just get these. If I had one suggestion, its that I wish there was a Helicoid version of these three mounts. I have the Fotsay M42 -> Fuji X-mount Helicoid adapter and it works really well. I wish they had versions of these with that feature.

Solid construction makes this a very good option if you want to adapt any Minolta MD or MC lenses to your Fuji X-mount camera.

OVERALL:I'm a very picky individual when it comes to my camera gear and this product has worked great and never given me any problems.I've used this for over 3 years with medium frequency and no signs of wear or performance issues.USEAGE:This allows me to use old manual Minolta Glass on my new Fuji body. Simple. I've been shooting with older MC/MD Minolta glass and love the quality of these older lenses.NOTE: This adaptor removes all AUTO features and makes every lens fully manual. I personally avoid all autofocus / non-aperature ring Minolta lens' because of this.Pic 1 (landscape): Minolta MD 28mm 2.8 - acquired for $10Pic 2 (dog): Minolta MC 58mm 1.4 - acquired for $25

Bought it to use a 135mm f/3.5, but this really opens up a new world of lenses for your Fuji. Perfect fit on both sides. I use it almost every time I shoot my X-A1 with my (now favourite) Minolta MC lens.
