I recently switched from Pentax to Nikon but did not want to part ways with the gorgeous Pentax Limited primes. This adapter is perfect. It’s all metal build feels nice in the hand, it fits into the z mount perfectly and Pentax K mount lenses attach and detach flawlessly. This is a dumb adapter, meaning there are no electrical contacts. The camera will not know what aperture or focal length you’re using and autofocus will not work. So keep that in mind. Still if you’re fine manually focusing, this adapter is ideal.

Surprised at how inexpensive this accessory is. Has allowed me to mount much older Pentax K mount lenses to my Nikon mirrorless and it’s been amazing. Be advised you will lose autofocus, but this is expected since this is strictly an adapter. If you’re used to shooting analog and manual cameras, you’ll be great. Great quality and fit for the adapted lenses.

Bought this to play around with the K1000 lens I used in high school on my new Nikon Z6ii! The images are way better than I expected!!

I’m using the PK to NikonZ adapter. I used K mount lenses for 20 years before switching to Nikon so I had many K mount lenses and some expensive ones. When I switched years ago to a Nikon DSLR I did get a converter but it had a lens in it to make up for the thickness of the converter and my images were a little soft. This one lets me use those K mount lenses on my new Nikon Z without any additional optic in the way. It breathed life into my old equipment. It locks on firmly and I’m very happy with its quality.
