I ordered these to make life easier. I used these on a 4 bank battery charging system for my boat. Instead of ring terminals, i changed everything over to quick connects on 8awg wire. Worked perfectly, and saves time hooking up the charger and unhooking when ready to go.

Easy to work, with plastic seems to be a decent quality. I like having the end covers to keep mud/snow out.

These Anderson style SB50 connectors are awesome. They always hold together, only fit one way, are easy to assemble, and are for the most part self cleaning contacts every time you connect them. After over a year of hard use on a kayak with a trolling motor that uses nearly 50 amps for extended times - I decided to order more and have converted all my battery chargers and other batteries and harnesses over to this same connector. I wish I had done this a year ago or more.

Price is excellent and the covers is a major plus. I have 3 20ft 2 gauge sets of jumper cables that i can now make into 20,40 or 60 ft cables to jump start vehicles. I made leads that go from the battery on my vehicles so that I do not have to open hood to jump start my vehicle or assist others. Works for supplying power to my winch that I set up to use in any 2 inch receiver. Lots of versatility for not a lot of money
