Great part fast shipping. Fixed the strange problem my freezer had. Change the temperature sensor and the defrost switch while you have it apart to save frustration later.

Compressor, start relay, capacitor, thymister, defrost circuits all check out good. No 120 volt detected at compressor, so rolled the dice and replace control board and everthing works like new. I am sure its a relay on the PCB. If I get 3 more yrs out of this freezer then it was worth it.

Frigidaire freezer would not turn off, I noticed it about a week after a bad thunderstorm. Unit is 10 yrs old. I thought perhaps the defrost heater was the issue; but it measured fine. Then remembered that if you turn the digital temp up high enough, it changed from numbers to "OFF" and that should turn off the compressor. It did not... so new board arrived, installed, turned the power back on and the display showed "0" and not a peep from the freezer. It was so cold, that it was happy, took about 45min for the compressor to come on I opened the door twice (to check the internal thermometer I stuck in there years ago) to help it along. So happy that it was an easy fix and didn't break the bank, a new one is like $900

Our freezer was 110% iced up (so iced up it was over and outside of the fins). I checked the defrost temp sensor with the freezer running and it had continuity. People who say to test in ice water are not correct as our sensor was marked 4221 which means 42F for the off temp and (42-21) is 21F for the on temp. Basically, Ice water does not get below 21F. I also tested my heater wire ends and got 40 Ohms and ready 0-50 Ohms is a good heater and not "open". I also attempted to bypass the defrost temp sensor and put the freezer in manual defrost mode with no luck. So basically my defrost heater and defrost temp sensor were Good. My model does not have a defrost timer which will control the periodically cycle attempt to defrost. This control card contains the circuit for defrost control and fixed our issue immediately. Repair: Place tape around your control panel to protect the face and pry it off. There is not good way not to break the 8 or so clips so just pry it out and replace.

I have a Crosley Upright Freezer CFUFH17LWO which did not defrost automatically or manually resulting in icing of the coils and compressor running constantly . Researching the model troubleshooting narrowed it down to the Control Board. The Crosley control board part number corresponded to this Frigidaire circuit board which I ordered and installed. The board was identical to the old one and seems to function as expected. Time will tell if the self defrost works, the manual defrost works.

The instructions say to unsnap the plastic housing from the freezer door. You HAVE to pry it off with a putty knife, breaking the retaining tabs in the process. Originally the board came complete with the plastic housing but it became obsolete and is just the board now. After putting the new board in the housing it slips back into the door and the electrical connection pins hold it in the door. I added a couple drops of super glue on 2 corners for the heck of it. It fixed my defrost and when it says -5 degrees it is actually -5 degrees. Very happy with this purchase.

When I opened the door on our Frigidaire freezer the light would blink on and off and sometimes made a clicking noise. But the main problem was if there was a power interruption the freezer would not come back on. If we were home I could push the reset and it would come on, the problem was when we were on vacation the power was off due to a storm and we came home to a freezer full of spoiled food. Our freezer is 12 years old and I was ready to buy a new one, and then I read where other people were having the same problem and replacing the control module to fix it. I took a chance and spent the $130.00 for a new control module through Amazon and now our freezer runs like a new one . Very quick and easy fix to install it. But I had the same problem other people were having with breaking some of the tabs when I pulled the old module out, but I managed to save two of them and the cover snapped right back in place. So this $130.00 part saved me $800.00 on a new freezer, Oh and I got the part 2 days before expected delivery, so it was a win/win, thanks Amazon for stocking this part.

This control module fixed my problem with the light flashing and the freezer not maintaining temperature. Has run great since. Easy 15-20 minute job if you want to save a few hundred over a service guy. However to get to the module you will end up breaking some if not all the tabs (3 on top, 3 on bottom) on the face plate which is sold separately (old stock still has the face plate included). I only broke two and bent two tabs (which I gently bent back close to original shape) but the face plate snapped back in secure....could always use tape if you don't mind cosmetic issues.
