The keyboard tray is of questionable quality. The steel is quite flexible and has many sharp edges, which caused me to cut myself multiple times. The instructions provided were completely incorrect, so I had to figure out the installation on my own. While it's not too difficult to assemble, having accurate instructions would have made the process much easier. Once installed (assuming you don't encounter the issues mentioned by other reviewers), it does function as intended, which is why I gave it a 2-star rating. However, I will not be purchasing from this brand again.Suggestion for Improvement: The manufacturer should improve the quality of the materials used and ensure that the edges are properly finished to prevent injuries. Additionally, providing accurate and detailed instructions would greatly enhance the user experience.

Der Artikel kam sehr gut verpackt bei mir an. Schon beim Auspacken fiel mir die stabile Konstruktion des Artikels auf. Dieser erste Eindruck bestätigte sich beim Zusammenbau, der wirklich sehr einfach war. Alles passte gut zusammen und nichts fehlte. Nach ca. 5 Minuten war alles zusammengebaut und nach weiteren 10 Minuten war die Schublade unter meinem Schreibtisch montiert. Die Schublade geht sehr leicht auf und zu, da kugelgelagert. Sehr zu empfehlen !

I purchased the small version of this tray (20x10) because I needed a drawer to put my drawing tablet. This tray is sturdy and works perfectly for my application. However, if your desk is made of dense/solid wood like mine the included wood screws will NOT be able to pierce through it. You will need to pre-drill holes in order to install this tray to your desk. Fear not, I will tell you how to do that right now.You will need an electric power drill, a set of 1/16th inch Extra Long drill bits, a set of Extra Long screwdriver bits, a ruler, and a roll of clear scotch tape.Step 1: Fully assemble the keyboard trayStep 2: Flip your desk overStep 3: Place the assembled tray where you want it to be on the bottom of the deskStep 4: Attach the extra long 1/16th inch drill bit to your electric power drillStep 5: From the tip of the drill bit measure 1 inch down the shaft of the bit and make a mark.Step 6: Wrap tape around the mark you made 1 inch down from the tip of the bit to indicate where one inch on the bit is (You will need this to ensure that you do not drill too deep into your desk)Step 7: Drill through the 8 holes on the keyboard tray (2 on each corner, stop drilling each hole when the tape you wrapped around the drill bit reaches the surface of the wood)Step 8: Remove the 1/16th inch Extra Long drill bit and attach the extra long screwdriver bit to your electric drillStep 9: Drill 8 of the long black wood screws included in the package into the holes that you just pre-drilled with the extra long screwdriver bitStep 10: wipe off the debris and flip your desk back over

This is definitely much better than most of what is available on the market. All the parts are metal but it is not heavy duty. The tray is an aluminium and is not very thick. It is definitely much better than plastic but I wish that it was thicker. As i use this to type and rest my hands on it, I am worried that over time it will bend. If it were more heavy duty, that would not be a concern. Nevertheless, I do feel that it is good value for what it costs. The installation was very easy and I likes that I could adjust the height. There is enough room for both my keyboard and mouse that it does not feel cramped. Again, I just wish that it was a bit more heavy duty. To sum it up, I do think that it is a good purchase.

My roommate and I we both bought one. Me a white one small and he took a large black one .We are both happy (I am planning to instal a strip of mini led light under the table to light up the key boardand the floor. ( in case I drop some popcorn or a good piece of chocolate in the evening. ( shall not waste )From ( Loving Frenchmen )

It's a good drawer, but it is somewhat ruined by the trash they included for screws. All screw heads deformed easily during setup. When I went to mount to the desk, the screw heads snapped off entirely (despite having drilled pilot holes). I was able to salvage it by getting better screws from the hardware store, but it's aggravating to pay so much for something only to have it ruined over by cheap hardware.

Ho acquistato questo vassoio per tastiera per sostituire quello in plastica che avevo da anni sotto il piano di appoggio del monitor, prima di effettuare la scelta come di consueto ho guardato molti modelli di dimensioni, materiale, sistema di montaggio, recensioni e prezzi diversi, poi ho deciso di optare per questo in metallo di colore bianco.All’apertura della scatola (difficoltosa perché non sono riuscito a individuare dove fosse predisposta per essere aperta, ed ho finito per “distruggere” la confezione di cartone) sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dall’estetica del piano, poi guardando le istruzioni di montaggio mi sono reso conto che avendo la ditta utilizzato minuscole foto in B/W del modello di colore nero le stesse risultavano davvero poco comprensibili. Mi sono munito di lente di ingrandimento e ho iniziato l’avventura, mi aspettavo di trovare 2 confezioni diverse di viti per le 4 tipologie indicate nelle istruzioni (2 da legno di misure differenti e 2 da metallo sempre di diversa altezza) poi dopo aver frugato più volte per sicurezza nella scatola ne ho trovata solo 1 che conteneva le une e le altre, e tra l’altro quelle da metallo mi sono sembrate tutte della stessa dimensione ma non è stato questo il problema che ne ha impedito il montaggio..... i problemi veri arrivano quando, dopo aver avvitato le guide laterali (quelle che permettono appunto lo scorrimento del vassoio), mi sono accorto che erano state fornite 2 staffe adatte per il lato destro anziché simmetriche come logica prevederebbe. Essendo le guide fornite già di 2 staffe presaldate sulle quali incastrare ed avvitare all’altezza voluta poi altre staffe ad L che permettono di fissarle al tavolo, mi sono ritrovato a seconda della scrlta di montaggio o con 4 staffe posizionate verso l’alto ma con meccanismo di apertura del vassoio per cui una parte scorrreva e l’altra no o con 2 staffe verso l’alto e 2 verso il basso. Ho sperato, nonostante l’estetica discutibile, che i vari fori che permettono di montare le staffe ad L ad altezza variabile permettessero comunque di trovare un punto in cui i 4 agganci risultassero tutti alla stessa altezza, ma qualunque tentativo facessi rimaneva una differenza non trascurabile che avrebbe tenuto il vassoio inclinato verso un lato.A questo punto, dopo aver perso già parecchio tempo, ho sperato che le guide potessero essere in qualche modo smontate per ruotate le staffe di una delle 2 verso l’alto, ma anche qui nessuna possibilità se non usando la forza bruta, che è quello che alla fine sono stato costretto a fare con risultati che hanno ottenuto lo scopo, anche se il risultato non è stato comunque perfetto perché le guide non sono comunque progettate in modo simmetrico.Avrei potuto chiedere il reso ma considerando la scatola originale distrutta in fase di disimballaggio, la necessità che avevo di un vassoio per scrivania avendo già buttato sulla fiducia il precedente e il non avere certezza che l’articolo sostituto non riproponesse il solito difetto ho deciso di non farlo, ma che chi (come il sottoscritto) prima di fare un acquisto si sofferma sulle recensioni degli altri utenti potesse evitare di avere questi miei problemi.Finalmente felice per avere un bel vassoio a scomparsa, utilizzo subito la tastiera wireless acquistata su Amazon per l’occasione e il mio mouse gaming ottico, realizzando a PC acceso che la superficie metallica non permette di comandare il cursore del mouse qualunque movimento di scorrimento si provi.Al che, ho avuto l’idea di acquistare un tappetino mouse gaming da mettere sotto mouse e tastiera e anche qui, a parte la spesa aggiuntiva non prevista, non ne esistevano di adatti per il vassoio che avevo acquistato (55 cm X 30 cm), per cui ho fatto in modo di prenderne uno che potessi tagliare a misura.In definitiva:PRO = molto bello esteticamente, anche se potrebbe essere più bello se si potessero avere delle guide, staffe e viti nere anche ler il modello bianco, dato che le sue originarie “color metallo” non sono proprio il massimo da un punto di vista di impatto visivoCONTRO = istruzioni di montaggio illeggibili, non possibile utilizzare un mouse ottico senza tappetino data la superficie metallica molto liscia e lucida, ma soprattutto che (nel mio caso) sia risultato inutilizzabile senza un intervento -diciamo- non ortodosso da parte mia perché fornito di serie con 2 guide/slitte metalliche adatte al solo lato destro del vassoio.

I can’t tell if the build tolerances are extremely wide or I got sent half of one product and half of another. Keyboard slide mounts are almost half an inch off to the point where I could drill the side (which I’m probably going to do, less work than sending back). One of the brackets doesn’t even fit in the slide mounts because it’s just slightly too wide. I’ve seen better quality off $3 trash bin items from Wish.Only positive I can say is the tray itself is sturdy. That’s about it.
