These are very hard to install when dry. Use a little grease on the end that fits into the receptacle and install at an angle toward you facing up and with the outward tabs engaged in the pocket then push inward and the backside will slide into place - it should take a few seconds for each. They fit perfectly and seem better than the foam core versions.

Our Jeep Liberty was given to us by family members and unknowingly I was driving around not knowing the stop bumps were missing for several years. I had taken the vehicle to a dealership and it was never brought up and I saw a YouTube video and the light bulb came on. I used a some Simple Green on them and my crowbar pushed it them on. I can drive with confidence knowing I won’t bottom out.
