Fits 2016 Suburban LTZ MP3010 transfer case perfectly. To be honest getting the seal off was much harder than putting it on with this tool. Fit, functionality, and quality is there with this tool and since the seal is 2 parts don’t know how I could’ve done it without this tool… highly recommended. For getting the old seal off I recommend to carefully drill some holes in the center of the seal and use some strong screws to form some kind of anchor to it… don’t drill too far into the seal because can damage the case or bearing behind the seal…. And then use a small crow bar to remove it… ya for reals. But protect the shaft that comes out with a thick rag as you pry on the screws to evenly remove the seal. From the pic you can see how I did the screws and that I tried my best to pull the seal out using the lip but was a no go. Job is not for the weak at heart and requires some knowledge and innovation but is doable. With that said next time this goes bad I’ll probably just swap out the case as I already have 170k miles on the truck. When installing do it slowly and make sure you are evenly putting the seal back on so you don’t get it hung up on one side so it doesn’t seat properly and inspect the seal all around… with that said this isn’t leaking no more!!! Used OEM seal.
