I have used StaBil for years and trust it. Never have had any issues with gas. Even have had gas stay OK for up to 2 years. Wouldn't recommend keeping it that long but stabil definitely works. I have no gas that does not have it in it. Would recommend that everyone use it. I think gas companies should add it to their gas up front. Great stuff.

The last few years, as the fall begins, I've been using Sta-Bil in my last few tanks of gas. Since that time, I've had no carburetor problems in the spring. It's a smart additive for the outdoor power equipment or any gas burner that may sit for months between uses.

Used for years and some other brands. Find it essential with petrol. Keeps fuel better and aids better starting of small engines. I tend to keep my fuel around for several months.

Used a lot of STA-BIL Fuel Stabilizer during COVID when we weren't driving much and use it for the gasoline in my classic cars and yard equipment. Really can't complain about it doing its job in stabilizing the gas, but I haven't noticed any improvement in fuel mileage for the active vehicles, and I monitor that closely. (With the ever-increasing price of fuel, why wouldn't you?)One thing: The smaller size bottles have the built-in and easy-to-use measuring spout. I kept that and refill it from this larger container, which has lasted me almost to the end of its shelf life. So far the price tends to be lower on Amazon than can be found find locally.

The item arrived with a broken cap although it was not leaking. Now I have to scrounge around looking for a cap that will fit.

I was unawared that once the container is opened the shelf life is 2 years. I assumed that it would last considerabliy longer and that only the gasoline would have a shelf life of 2 years. So take note of this and purchase a smaller containber of stablizer if you won't use the whole gallon within a year.
