This connector did not fit my patio swing canopy. I had to tie it on with a rope. The screw did not fit (too narrow).. Maybe I needed Type 1.

Yes, these little gizmos are a bit too expensive (too costly by about $5.00 each), but if the rest of your deck swing is still in good condition, you may as well bite the bullet and get these to extend the life of your swing. Both of mine had cracked right after I had replaced both the canopy and the cushions! I am happy to note that the new ones are identical to the original ones so the fit and function are perfect! I am guessing that they are probably made better than the old ones and should last a very long time.

This was a great replacements for the old ones that broke from age. I was worried that they wouldn't fit our vintage garden swing and to my surprise it was Perfect!!! Now we get to enjoy the canopy to our vintage garden swing again.

This bracket fits the canopy stanchion brackets on the old swing sold by Walmart and which parts are no longer available.You need to make 12mmOD x 8mmID threaded inserts or drill out the bracket for a 12mm bolt in place of the knob that comes with the bracket.The brackets are sturdy and easily held the large canopy frame and cover.

Did not work for my swing ,I needed one where it comes in two pieces so I can inclose around pole then tighten with screws. Bummed
