Love the induction stop top. Easy to install over existing cut out for gas stove stop if you measure first by downloading the install manual. Takes a bit getting used to because you need pans which work on induction heat.

We bought this a few months ago to replace a 10 year old GE Cafe induction cooktop that quit working. It's got some weird quirks. For example, when we turn a burner on, it lets you choose low or high and drops you to the lowest setting or the highest setting and you adjust from there. If you choose the highest setting on two of the burners, it doesn't work unless you back it down one notch and then put it back to where you started. It does work, but that step shouldn't have to be taken. It also isn't as powerful at the GE Cafe. We would not purchase this again, a GE Cafe is worth the extra money. One thing I do like about this cooktop it is the rings that show up so you don't have to turn on a light to line up your pan on the burner properly like we had to do with our old GE Cafe.
