I bought these and seem fine. Unfortunately I’m renting in an old building I don’t know if that outlet is grounded, so I haven’t tried it yet.

Exactly what I needed to help some two prong outlets take a three prong extension cord. After a few safety and trial runs I eventually ran two sets of rope lights for over 72 hours without any damage or warm from the cube or lights. No issues with plug not fully inserting.

I have a few items that need to be plugged into a grounded socket. I can now convert the ones that aren't.

I was looking for a outlet made in america hoping it wouldnt be cheaply made. Now under product info for the 2 pack it says made in america so i said ok ill get the 20 for bulk incase i need more later. Only after getting the package and then seeing china that i was confused so i went back on the page for product info and its different for the 20 pk with the country it was made in completely removed(i wonder why). Will give a update and lower my rating if these break easy.

I bought a chest freezer for the basement not realizing the plug I planned to use was 2 prong rather than 3- having already had to do several electrical upgrades on this old house I was not exactly thrilled but a quick search and I came across the existence of adapters, this one looked sturdy and good, so I went for it. I had my tools to check to make sure it made a proper ground too. It did, so easy. Chest freezer has been plugged in for 3 months now no issues. The particular outlet I used can’t have a cover with this, but it’s because it’s recessed into the wall and I didn’t trust the metal cover that was small enough since it’s supposed to ground the electricity. But I bet I could find a smaller plastic plate if I cared to- it’s in the basement though.
