They are available in ratcheting flex head, flex head, and standard pattern bodies. All wrenches have 2 sizes on each wrench, saving space in your tool box. They are manufactured from durable alloy steel and all feature a bright, full polish chrome finish. Ideal for use on hex nuts where tubes are present, such as a vehicle's fuel and brake lines.

GearWrench 81681 3/8 inch x 7/16 inch flare nut wrench is designed to fit over fuel, brake, hydrolic and other lines that carry fluids and seat on fasteners designed to prevent leakage. Wrenches are standard pattern and have offset open ends to allow for clearance. Flare nut wrenches are made from chrome vanadium steel for strength and have a high polish nickel chrome finish for long tool life.

This wrench was a life-saver for removing the flare nut securing the pump discharge line into the main tank. (60 gallons vertical air compressor). Access was difficult and using an ordinary open wrench was not an option. It came really handy for re-assembly of the same line after work was completed. Quality and machining of the wrench was spotless. Unlike cheaper flare nut wrench, you feel that this one can translate your brute force directly to the nut without any rounding or flexing. These are on par with Sunex or Snap-On flare nut wrenches.

For this being a wrench it is heavy but that means it is strong. It's on there perfectly. If I didn't have the others I would definitely buy this set

wrench was designed for torque , it worked but is almost too wide to fit the connection at the gas regulator .
