Bracket installation was very easy. Holds my generator box very securely. Love it.

I added a generator on the back of my camper and started with a Arsken bumper mounted cargo carrier. The carrier is rated for 350 pounds but I knew as soon as I mounted it that it would never handle the weight of my 90 pound generator. These brackets made all the difference. I can stand on the cargo carrier with the generator and it is rock solid. It also helps by reducing the vibration when the generator is running. I would never consider mounting a generator without also adding these!

Works great! Have this on my 2008 StarCraft RV back bumper to hold a 4500 watt generator and firewood- about 140 pounds total. Have used this for about 8,000 miles down dirt roads and all sorts of terrain and it’s held up like new. Just check all the bolts occasionally for tightness

Seem solid enough for holding a deezee tool box on back of RV. Would like to have seen a little stronger connection area. Rather than cutoff excess material I added an extra bolt Just in case. Other than that box is on there solid.

I purchased this piece of garbage based on the reviews, and this is what I found and remedied the problem.First, my friend and I who are very mechanically inclined, put this together with all of the right tools, including power tools. We installed it on my 5th Wheel RV, put two 47 pound generators on it, and the rack was sloping downward. It appeared to be very flimsy and I did not want to take a chance on losing two Honda generators and possibly causing damage to vehicles behind us, so we sent it back.I bought a rack at Harbor Freight Tools for $119 and it was a lot stronger. I also hired a professional welder to reinforce the RV bumper at a cost of $600, which is the right and safe way to carry heavy cargo. The rack and the bumper worked out so well, we could probably put a Smart Car on the rack and it would still be safer than the Mount-n-Lock GennyGo.

It really got old lifting the genny in and out of the truck bed so I decided to find a way to avoid that. Saw these, and the bumper reinforcing Safety Struts, and decided to give them a try. Very easy to install the struts and the MnL arms. Had a couple of questions and the company responded in a timely manner with great advice. As I am ~180# of cargo I thought I might need an extra arm. After talking with the factory, who told me I could add an extra arm but it wasn't necessary, I finished the install in less than 30 minutes. I didn't buy the tray offered with this unit as I wanted one that was 24"x30" to accommodate the genny and 2 fuel cans. I made mine for about $75 and it is exactly what I wanted. I took the trailer on a 145 mile loop of Phoenix, AZ and the measurements were exactly the same after the trip as they were before. These products seem to be a great solution for the issues I had. Barring any future problems, which will get this review updated, at this point I highly recommend them.

My TT has a rear bumper that does not extend out so I could not use other cargo carriers. Had previously used on another TT a 2" receiver hitch that was welded to the frame along with a cargo carrier but that resulted in bouncing swinging cargo that was scary. I used two sets of the GennyGo arms (4) and modified the carrier I had by removing the 2" hitch tube and adding flat strips to support the carrier on the GennyGo arms. I also added the support struts to support the bumper. I carried two Honda 2000 gens and gas cans on this set up with no bounce at all. Great solution and great products. Just be mindful of how the rear load effects tongue weight and balance your TT load (I ran with full fresh water up front to offset rear load).

The GennyGo came well packaged and bubble wrapped. it is coated black and the coating is very scratch resistant. It took less than 30 minutes to put it together and bolt it to the travel trailer bumper. I stood on it (200 lbs) and it did not even flex. The package says 200 foot pounds load but it sure seems like it could hold more. all the hardware was good quality. the support frame is very effective. there are three configurations you can use to mount it so you are pretty much guaranteed one will work, great product and easy to install We bought the GennyGo for our predator 3500 genset (100 lbs). It is a challenge to lift it to the height of the pickup truck bed and the GennygGo is so much lower that it is easier to load the generator. can't say enough good things about this product
