fit right. This elusive piece of hose connects the 2 metal pipes that go from the back of the water pump to the water distribution assemble on the left (rear) of the engine. If you are anywhere near this hose, replace it. It is so impossible to get to unless you have a bunch of stuff off. If it blows, you won't hardly even be able to tell. I also replace all of the other coolant & heater hoses while I was in there.
