This headlight assembly has the seven pins like used in other pop-up headlight systems but does not have the vacuum ports underneath… Please check the part you were ordering if you need a vacuum port underneath to make sure the one you get shows vacuum ports

I noticed my 1980 El Camino head light switch was hot to the touch and the das lights would not dim. This took care of the wore out resister switch and was OEM quality

While its a "B" to install, going removing and thru the gauge pod really isnt that bad. You will need smaller hands though.

I am convinced now it is best to buy genuine AC Delco parts for General Motors products. I bought a less expensive one and it overheated. I bought the Ginuwine GM product after looking for problems with my wiring harness, a short or something and all it was an inferior part, the GM headlight switch fixed it.
