This has turned out to be a great product! I do wish that the locking pins were shorter by about 3/4 of an inch.

Have only used this item a handful of times but each time was to pull a significant load. Works great, looks great and is of high quality. When you don't want to risk damage to what you are hauling or to those behind you, this is the product to purchase!

Hitch is great. The only thing wrong is it came with pins that are 1/2 inch too long so they jiggle around. Had to buy new ones the fit

Very well built! So glad I finally spent the money on an all in one hitch! Gen-y obviously cares about the reputation of their brand! Only regret is I got a 2" and used the sleeve on my 2.5" receiver... Should have spent the little extra on the 2.5" to get rid of the extra play from having to use the sleeve!

So far so good. Im not easily impressed but This has to be one of the heaviest duty all in one drop hitches on the market. Good sturdy solid piece of equipment here, and looks good too. Be sure to buy some good locking pins because this is a piece of equipment all the bad boys will want to take off of your truck. Beware that if you order the 10 inch drop hitch the entire piece of equipment it is over a foot in length to hang down off the back of your truck, I have a ram 2500 diesel that Even stock sits high, I do not take my hitch out ever so when I am not towing if somebody runs into me they hit that first, if you don't have a lift or your truck you might find it hangs too low. I had to return the 10 inch drop and get a 8 inch drop which is much better for clearance when loaded over curbs and just around the construction site and not having to worry about digging up the asphalt backing into a customers driveway.

I have this installed on my Ram 3500 dually. While I have lots of great things to say about this versatile, super strong hitch, I will say the black balls rust quickly vs. another B&W hitch I have on my other truck. Difference is the B&W hitch has chrome plated balls, so there's no or very little rust in comparison. No biggie here. This GenY has nice pintle and drop features in addition to sout, versatile tri-ball. Make sure you keep it secured with locking pins. Thieves might like this expensive unit and with merely one unsecured pin...they'll probably be tempted to steal it.On my Ram 1500 I have mounted a B&W TS10048B Tow and Stow Magnum Receiver Hitch Ball Mount. This hitch is easier to use/change, and as mentioned the chrome balls don't seem to rust. (Note: I've reviewed the B&W hitch separately). The only drawbacks with the B&W hitch is it doesn't offer a pintle hitch nor is its rated capacity as high as this GenY. I can say with my Ram 3500 I have towed 14,000+ pounds with bumpy roads, etc. with no problems with this GenY hitch. I recommend it.

Like others have said, this hitch is impressively made and very stout. Be prepared for a bit of a lift when you pick the box up from your front porch! It is packaged well, wrapped in plastic and styrofoam. Not a scratch anywhere. I also bought two locking pins from Gen-Y (but they sent three) and was VERY pleased that the same key works in all 3 locks, so I have 5 extra keys. I'm not one to drive around with towing equipment connected without a trailer, but I almost want to just to show this thing off! I tested the adjustability with my trailers and it is perfect for my boat and utility trailer and would even work with my camper, though I use a WD hitch when towing my camper. The Gen-Y is actually rated higher than the WD I use for the camper. I would probably use the Gen-Y if I could find the WD add on to this hitch. The drawbar also fits nicely in the holes, so I'm not expecting as much slop as I have with my other adjustables. But, I can now remove the other draw bars from my tool box, because the Gen-Y meets all requirements.I'll be adding a Class V after Christmas, which will mount under the existing Class IV, and the Gen-Ys adjustability will still give me the ability to tow level. An excellent addition to my Dodge 3500 and something I should have bought years ago!
