I love this piece. I keep it lit all night as a night light in my dining my dining room. It is extremely heavy so be careful moving it. Overall. I want one in each of my rooms!

I love this lamp, I've had it on non-stop since I bought it almost 4 years ago. LITERALLY NON-STOP. The original bulb went out recently and I replaced it with a bulb from the appliance section. (I saw some negative comments about not being able to find replacement bulb-not true.) Anyways, you won't regret your purchase, it's perfect.

I did receive the lamp but the light bulb was broken inside and every metal part is covered with rust. Delivery was quick but the box obviously have been opened before (and badly taped back). Size of the lamp is as described.

During a remodel of our den I was looking for unique and interesting items for the decor. My kids have salt lamps that I have always thought were cool, but they were too small for the space I was looking to fill. On a whim I searched Amazon for "large salt lamp" and found this Giant Natural Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp. There were already great reviews and I could see that size was really up to the buyer. I opted for the 40-45 lb size thinking it would be just about right. Turns out it's perfect. It actually weighs in at more like 50 lbs which is fine with me. The dimensions are about 16" tall x 11" wide. It looks really nice both with the lamp on and off. When on there is a warm glow and the rock itself gets warm after a few hours. Some say there is an ion exchange that takes place with these salt lamps... perhaps... I couldn't substantiate that in science despite searching the web and discussing with shop owners around Arizona where I live, although several people in Sedona seem to put a lot of credence in the theory (along with crystals, vortex's, etc.). to each their own I guess and if there are health benefits I'll take them. Otherwise the cool factor is enough for me to justify this purchase. The seller was great and it was shipped fast and packaged well considering the heft. I've only had it a short while and I've already had several friends and family admire it. Mission accomplished.

Went all-out and bought a 125-135lb lamp. Looks good. The original cord shipped w/it was destroyed upon arrival (shipping?) but contacted originator (Jay) and had a replacement w/in a week. Since it is a larger lamp, the upper third does not light up (about 20 inches tall). Still not sure if I like that aspect, but that is why I said "balance". I suppose the larger stones being dense just will not light as well as a smaller one. This larger stone is also more red than orange, a plus. Overall, very satisfied w/purchase. It is dominating yet tranquil addition to our formal living room. I really appreciate Jay's response and dedicated customer service.

This would have been 5 star, only the packing was atrocious resulting in major problems. The lamp itself is amazing. But, the seller actually placed the bulb, unwrapped and attached to the cord, inside of the lamp for shipping. I own many smaller salt lamps already, and the bulbs are ALWAYS kept in its own small box, then wrapped in bubble wrap, then inserted into the lamp cavity, to ensure it doesn't break and to contain said break just in case. So, you can imagine the difficulties with removing a 68 lb salt lamp from its packaging, only to have lots of tiny slivers of broken glass fly out of the bottom as you remove it from its own bubble wrap! I had glass in my hands and in my lap as I used my body to try and move this thing around to unwrap it. It took me hours to extract glass from my skin, and then to ensure that all of it was up out of my expensive rug that it all fell out on.I wrote the seller to explain the issue the same day it was received. They wrote back right away asking for the order number (they should automatically receive it when receiving that message). I replied right away with the order number and my name again, and never heard back from them again - that was a week ago! I'm appalled at their lack of customer service, I deserve at the very least a sincere apology (which was not included when they asked for the order number) and a replacement bulb. After putting a customer through something like that, most businesses would offer something additional.Anyway, the lamp itself is wonderful. I purchased bulbs myself, and it is working well.
