For some bizarre reason, ALL of the long cymbal sleeves on Amazon (and other sites) either have the total length of these at 1.05 inches or 2 inches. Why? The actual total length of these is actually 1 3/8 inches!!!! I was getting frustrated trying to match my old ones, and took a gamble that these would match up, and thankfully they did. Not sure why manufacturers/vendors don't show the actual length.

These work perfect for my 700 series cymbal stands. I only use long flanged sleeves never short and prefer cympads over felts. One cympad on the bottom of my crash cymbals is how i like it. Because the sleeves are long there's plenty of room for the cymbal to sound true and not fly off. For the china 1 top and 2 bottom cympads and these long flanged cymbal sleeves provide the right amount of room needed. Also a cympad set to for the hi-hat clutch. I change the flanged cymbal sleeves often, about every 3 months with daily/weekly use. It's good to have extra cymbal sleeves in the drum bag when needed or if someone else needs.

Before I got these, I was using multiple cymbal pads to elevate the cymbal high enough to fasten the cymbal to the stand, now that I have these, I only need one to set the cymbal on, and another to put on top before putting the screw on, like it's supposed to be with all cymbals. Lol They work great, will buy more.

these fit many, not all. If so they will extend the life of the cymbal. Also, they may need to be cut. Check your specs

Gotta have some of these for when our cymbals start falling down the stands. Product works great, it's not given us any issues, and was priced fairly. Amazon has never disappointed, and they didn't start here.

Fit one of my stands perfectly. The rest, I had to cut about 1/2 inch off the top because it was too tall and couldn't get to the threads with the wing nut. So glad I won't have to worry about keyholing any more. Took a lot of buzz out too. Just what I needed.

These are a great idea because they eliminate the need for tubing or rubber sleeves to prevent keyholing (where the cymbal hole becomes elongated and resembles an old fashion keyhole from metal-to-metal contact between the cymbal and the stand.)Note that this flanged sleeve only works with 8MM stands. On 6MM stands it will be too loose. Also note that this is a relatively tall sleeve that may not fit every stand. If your threaded post at the top of the stand is relatively short, consider the Gibraltar SC-19B Short Flanged Cymbal Sleeve.I highly recommend this product (or anything similar) as long as you are using something to prevent metal-to-metal contact with your cymbals. This particular solution works perfectly if all other factors, such as your post is 8MM and its height is sufficient for this sleeve, are satisfied.

just screw these sleeves on your cymbals stands and you have your precious cymbals perfectly protected. these sleeves are made of hard plastic ans last for ever. no buzzing noise anymore when recording or miking the set, just perfect and cheap.
