Since this is the first time using and reviewing a Gimbal-type tool, I wasn't sure what to expect. I've seen them advertised and was always curious about them. But the price always scared me off. So when this tool became available at a really ridiculous price, I figured it was worth trying it out. Assembly out of the box was very simple. When I read you could use it while charging, I began playing with it right away while plugged into the charger. The directions were a little challenging as there were multiple languages to describe the functions. But once I was able to sift thru them, I began to understand the functions. I can't compare this to other more-expensive units, but it certainly impressed me with how stable this was as I was walking around, doing knee bends and twists. There are multiple controls that allow different orientations, either free-flowing or locked. As I said in the beginning, there is definitely a significant learning curve, at least for me. But I believe if someone takes the time and effort, this tool can be an outstanding addition to your photographic armamentariam.

I waited several weeks after purchase to submit this review as my initial experience with it was frustrating due to a very bad included instruction book. Ultimately I watched several YT videos so I better understood what to expect and howto use a device like this. It’s the first gimbal I’ve used.Beyond my own lack of knowledge and experience this lightweight gimbal does the job. There’s an appthat adds some cool extra features.You MUST remove any case you have on your phone, but once done it holds securely. But that’s also a bit inconvenient if you want to quickly deploy the gimbal.I think I’ll find a place for this in my travel kit and figure out when I want to use it. I think this is a nice entry level gimbal for the price and features.
