This flow valve comes in pieces, but goes together very easily. The parts are all precision made, and work as expected. The price is reasonable for the quality you are getting, and while you can get these cheaper, they won't be as nice. Nice gas/vacuum flow control. This is basically a stopcock style vacuum adapter, but with a pin valve in the stopcock to give you finer control over the flow/vacuum level. It fits my existing glassware fine and the joints are nicely ground. Leaving it under vacuum for 10 minutes resulted in no leaks. The adapter requires some assembly. It's easy to assemble, just be sure to get the washer and o-ring in the right order (o-ring goes between the nut and washer, washer goes on first).
