So, I bought the wrong size… my fault. But will eventually need so didn’t bother retuning. Seems good quality, heavy duty feel

No lo he usado, creo que me tardaré en instalarlo, sin embargo, se ve de buena calidad.

Problem: My Cayenne unfortunately is parked under a car port outside. During the winter in the Pacific Northwest, in the "frontier" the night temps have dropped to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Seems that the Cayenne standard fuse for the air suspension will trip (sacrifice itself) below 20 degrees Fahrenheit (not terribly cold) when activated and it activates upon startup. 3 fuses later in 2 weeks I found this "reseting" fuse.Problem solved!!!I have not had to replace this fuse and cannot tell if it had a higher trip point or if it has tripped and fixed it self (probably not). If it did trip, a crapload of alarms goes off on the dashboard and I would have to wait for the fuse to cool-off and bridge the connection again. That's how it self resets via a thermo expansion when it gets too hot at the trip point of the fuse and the leads will come back together and reconnect when cooled.Very awesome for a known scenario. I didn't even see it in the forums when researching the solution. I just happen to find it here on Amazon. Did not even know this product existed.Too bad there are so few sizes. I would love to buy a whole kit and just replace all my vehicle fuses.

I wish I had an easy way to test the "trip point" on these. If they either fail or I can tell they're working as expected, I'll update the review. For now I just have to "trust" the reviews and company. Otherwise they're a great alternative (and similar in price to) a single maxi fuse.

These are very useful when diagnosing a problem or installing new equipment on a car, to avoid popping many fuses during an install.Pros: resettable. Good for diagnosis or when installing new accessories. Cost effective (Specially for these overpriced MAXI-Fuses), true to size compared to the OEM non-resettable fuses.Cons: *Not to be used to solve an unknown problem.*Remember that if a fuse pops, it's because there's a current draw above the circuit's tolerance.FUSES PROTECT THE WIRING TO AVOID DAMAGE. REPEATEDLY TRIPPED FUSES INDICATE A SHORT OR OVERDRAW.So using these without knowing what the cause of the draw can lead to bigger problems. NORMALLY, A FUSE SHOULDN'T BLOW.In my case, the fuses blow because I have too many add-on accessories on my circuit, that I don't usually run at the same time. Occasionally, I forget to turn off some of them and turn on new ones. With this, I simply remember turn them off and reset the fuse. I blow a fuse about twice a year like that.

Used this for my Jeep Cherokee in the PDC because my rear window defogger kept blowing the fuse, which kept the truck from starting, this way if I accidentally hit the switch it would just reset after a minute and could start the truck.
