Id have been highly pleased with this package except that after being unable to get it to run within spec i took runout readings be on the mounting flange. .0045 runout.Stripped the ring gear off it and put it in naked. Same .0045 runout.Since im a machinist by trade ive just finished taking a .005 cut on the mounting face, but i really feel like i shouldnt have needed to spend the time and effort to do that with a new carrier.As i understand it the spec calls for .002 as the limit.
