I shoot real estate photography and I've used speed lights but in those larger spaces, they don't really work well. This light can handle small spaces and large with ease. The battery life is great. I've shot dozens of homes on a single charge...it just keeps going! It is a little heavy, but I attached a camera strap to it so it can be carried around easier. The build quality is what you would expect from Godox, tough and high quality. Pairing with my flash trigger was super easy. If you need to go to the next level with your flash, this one will do it.

This is a staple of the Godox lineup for me and is such a workhorse. While it doesn't have some of the features of the Pro model (stable color mode, faster recycle time, TTL), it still offers high speed sync up to 1/8000 sec, 8 stop range (1/1-1/128), 32 channels and 5 groups to work with your other Godox lights. It is also .44kg/.74lb lighter than the Pro and boasts 140 more flashes over the Pro.I have used the flash both in studio and on location and it has never let me down. The Bowens S mount gives me so many modifier options, as well as the umbrella post hole, so I can modify my light however I need to. The bulb has always held securely, and the buttons work with no issues (though I make all of my changes at the remote).For my studio work, and even most location sessions, I utilize the extension head so it keeps the light lower for a better center of gravity on the light stand, and if I have access to power, I use the AC/DC power converter, which not only saves the battery from over usage, but it lasts all day and recycle times are a little faster.Overall, it is a great light and a the power, if used correctly (settings, modifiers, distance to subject), can really boost those shadows in direct sunlight. There's also a 1200w head where you can join 2 AD600BMs together as one light and I'm really looking forward to getting that.
