Golden-yellow skin and salmon pink flesh that is fairly sweet for such an early melon. Leaves are green and yellow so don't be alarmed its normal.
No guessing needed to know if this watermelon is ready because it turns yellow when its at its peak ripeness. Black seeded variety. Prompt harvesting will keep golden midget from splitting. Excellent melon for short seasons. Just over two months!
