This is a thin, edible gold leaf that comes in a relatively large sheets. While I now prefer the 10mm² gold leaf for this particular project, I would repurchase this for other uses.

Bought these for my upcoming birthday party which is black and gold in theme! Tried them this weekend on some cupcakes and it looked amazing! It took a little bit of practice to get the first few ones off but definitely added the need much needed sparkle on black icing!

Used to decorate a chocolate cake for friend’s birthday. Please read up on how to apply/use gold leaf prior to applying. It’s incredibly delicate and tricky to work with

As far as I can tell this is legitimate gold. It is hard to express how thin it is. There is almost nothing there, which is of course why you can buy gold for $14. It is extremely delicate and will fall apart with a hard look.This adds no flavor to food, if that's what you're trying to use it for. Just expensive sparkles.One sheet arrived shredded and completely unusable, and a second is only a partial sheet. The third sheet was fine.Interesting stuff, but too much didn't arrive in a usable state for me to recommend.

not sure if i could eat, just the thought of eating metal, but the 6"x6" sheet is thin enough to where i do not think you would notice it at all.
