gosen

G Tour

GOSEN finely blended the high purity polymer for the power players

who swing fast to maximize the initial velocity and power to pierce

at the baseline of the opponent’s court.

gosen

G Spin

GOSEN created the hexagonal shaped co-polyester string which comes from G-TOUR3 and main concept for this string is "Crisp hitting feel" & "Spin". G-SPIN3 high repulsion with ball biting, and hexagonal shape of the string creates superior spin performance. Normally, player feels stiff from textured string; however G-SPIN3 adopts the material which is same as G-TOUR3, so players can create the good ball biting with spin

gosen

Polylon

Designed to increase power and spin, the thinner gauge provides an added feel increasing to the comfort level of poly strings.

The durability of the strings have increased the spin and control performance and has all around great playability.

Gosen

OG Sheep

Traditional synthetic string that is aimed for good all round performance.

The OG Sheep uses a nylon mono-filament which is beneficial to to wide range players. It specialises in cost performance, repulsion and durability.

Umishima

Multifilament

The multifilament has a unique structure that has a high resilience to minimalise the tension loss in each shot that is taken.

The Multifilament strings are structured with a mono-filament heat resistant, polymide fibre. This method of creating the strings is what minises tension.

I am a recreational player. I have been using various strings, most of these strings after several hours of use, they seem to feel dead. this Gosen string is the needle in the haystack for me. So far the string bed feels live to me every time I am playing. the only down side to this is the string does not snap back.Overall, this is my go to string. I am happy!

For the longest time, Wilson Enduro Pro 17 was my go to string... until it was discontinued. Kirschbaum SuperSmash Orange 1.23 became a long term replacement. I still like and use SuperSmash Orange but decided to look for a "traditional" poly string with a bit less stiffness. I decided to give Gosen Polylon 17 a try. Subjectively, it feels thinner than SuperSmash even though it is described as 1.24mm (vs 1.23mm SuperSmash). Objectively, definitely softer than SuperSmash and easier to string. As the tension is applied during stringing, it has more give, too.On the court, it felt softer without losing any control. It is not shaped but it has good snapback and decent spin potential. It delivered more power on serves.I have played with it for four hours and so far, I like it.Racquets, strings and string tension are a very personal thing. However, if you're looking for a traditional poly with a softer feel, give it a try. Just might be the "value" string you're looking for :)- Strung at #53 on Wilson ProStaff 97

I string these at 59lbs. and after a couple of hours of play they provide good control and a nice pop on serves and ground strokes with my control frame. I’m yet to break these.
