The product itself appears to be good quality. The locking tabs do not hold it in place alone and if someone really wanted to steal it, it would be extremely easy for them to do so. The provided ziptie will hold it in place but I can foresee it being stolen. that being said, its a tight fit into the hitch and will provide a good cover to prevent water and debris from entering. The print appears to be of good quality, no signs of coming off the cover any time soon, no bubbles as well. I can also see this hitch being a problem in colder climates as I feel like the plastic will break, but for the novelty aspect of it, it works fine.As for the effects it has on people, it varies. I've had people have good fun with it, but I've also had people still think that the okay sign, regardless of orientation, is racist. For the latter reason and avoiding confrontation, I will be keeping it off my car for daily use but if you don't mind potential confrontation and love being a 12 year old on a daily basis, this will do the job for you!

I love having this on my truck. It gets lots of attention and smiles from people. I've had people come up to me at gas stations and car washes to comment on it. I had a guy offer to let me hit him since "that's the rules his kids play by." I have seen people laughing and taking pictures of me in my rear view mirror, too. It's pretty funny. Another non-scientific observation is that people seem to not be pissed at my Ricky Bobby driving style when I have this on my truck. Could just be in my head, though.I have had two of these, and my third is being shipped to me right now. The first one I am pretty sure fell out since I didn't put the zip tie on it. The second one I got as a Christmas present from a co-worker since I lost the first one so fast. It lasted about four months before the carwash finally destroyed it. The hard plastic backing broke, but the softer plastic was still good so I tried reinforcing it. I thought I had done a pretty good job of that, but the carwash accepted the challenge and broke that, too. Full disclosure: I have a membership so I wash my truck at least two or three times a week.This time I will be cutting out a steel oval, and cutting the plastic mount off of this one. I will glue it to the steel oval with some sort of epoxy, and then tack on some more steel "fingers" to hold it. I will then weld this to a real hitch. I'm thinking that the sun will be the only thing to worry about then.

Decent. It’s simple and fun. If I had to be hyper critical the clips aren’t strong enough so I had to cut a hole in each side and pin it down. Not hard but still..
