Great case. Just transported my Gretsch from North America to Europe. Checked it in this case with a TSA lock (did not carry it aboard), and it arrived with both guitar and case in perfect condition. Really pleased. So much easier than schlepping it into the passenger compartment on a 3-segment itinerary.

Arrived ok, but vinyl wasn’t sewn on case very well, I have a loose flap of fabric. You get what you pay for since it was cheap. It fit my guitar perfect. Look up the sku from Gretchen website a confirm this is the same for your guitar

Got a couple of Gretsch gold Elite Streamliner guitars and wanted to keep them safe. A soft case just will not do the job. This case is reasonably priced and of fairly good quality. Nice lining and storage and built sturdy. There are hard cases out there that are better for a few hundred dollars, but this one is perfect for what I needed.

Bought a Gretsch 2627T Streamliner and quickly realized that finding a case for it would be a challenge. At the time, Gretsch wasn't even listing the 2627T as part of its lineup. Other generic cases matched the body width but couldn't accommodate the Bigsby. Happy to find this case on Amazon. Not only does it fit like a glove, but has the Gretsch logo. Lightweight, but solidly made.

I got this for my Gretsch G2622 (no tremolo) and the case is made to fit this model and the model with the tremolo so it's essentially a custom fit. It's well-made and a fair price, especially if you don't want to risk getting a generic case that may/may not fit. If you're gigging, flying, or doing extensive traveling I'd recommend a sturdier case, but for keeping around the home or occasionally taking it out, this is a solid option for the G2622.

I recently purchased a left handed G2622. Tried to purchase a case, twice, from Guitar Center. Both were the wrong size. I called Gretsch/Fender directly to obtain the product code number for the case they made for this guitar. THIS KIND OF FITS, AND WAS DELIVERED EARLIER THAN PROMISED.1) It arrived with a cut in the case's leather-ette exterior (per img #1).2) The padded wood that the the neck lays on is about an inch or so higher than I would like it to be. When the neck lays on it, bottom of the body cannot touch the felt lining... It floats. I am afraid it will warp the neck in the long run. I assume it would not damage the neck as much while it is standing up. (see img #2)3) See the poorly assembled trim (img #3)4) When I carry it with the handle, the weight is off because the heavier part is by the handle, unlike a right handed guitar, in which it would be on the opposite side of the handle. This was def designed for only right handed guitars, but it will have to do because FENDER/GRETSCH DOES NOT OFFER PROPER CASES FOR THEIR LEFT HANDED ITEMS. If your guitar is a lefty, and you know someone who makes cases, hire them to make you one. If you are a righty, this case will work fine.

I dont know why anyone would give these cases a negative review? The case is built very well and there is evidence that they paid close attention to details when it was manufactured. For the money, it is a fantastic value! If you are looking for a flight case, This is not the case for you. However if you are looking for a well built case that will last you a lifetime (providing you or your road crew don,t play football with it after every gig), then this is what you want. The guitar fits perfect, the latches are heavy duty, the case itself is very durable as well. If I had to find something negative about it, I guess it would be that it did not come with a traditional key type locking latch, which is a personal preference only as it did come with a locking hasp type latch that requires a mini pad lock or similar. No two ways about though, this hasp type latch with a mini pad lock on it would be the stronger of the two types and much harder pick the lock or break into
