Deducted 1 star for 3 missing washers on this keyboard stand. 1 was a curved washer that goes on a screw under one of the upper tier arms. 2 more straight washers missing on the upside down wing bolts that hold the cross platform. But other than that, I love this thing. Built strong, and a great value for the price. Stable, and very adjustable. I wouldn't be putting my Korg Kronos on it if I didn't trust it! You are doing good things Griffin, keep it up. I own your double bass pedal, and bought several Griffin boom cymbal stands too. I like your products! But please make sure all the parts are there. Thank you.

I spent a long time investigating multi-tiered keyboard stands to replace my wobbly old X-style stand. Although I didn't previously know the brand, I liked the look of this stand, which was unlike most other models I had seen. Although it was not the designed use, I thought that I might even be able to put two smaller keyboards on the bottom tier, possibly with a board or something underneath. For my case, it worked perfectly, and didn't even require anything extra. All of the keyboards, even the second tier, are rock solid, and much more stable than they were before, and I now have a lot more desk space. I had concerns about being able to access all of the controls on the bottom tier of keyboards, but the heights are very customizable, and I might actually have the top tier too high at this point, and may lower it in the future. It is quite simple to set up, though the bolts are fairly long, so it takes a bit of time to move. If I were to attempt to move it, I might try to leave it assembled because of that, but I rarely do that, anyway, so it works quite well for me.

I just received the the double keyboard stand. It came before promised in record time and in excellent condition with all parts. Assembling was not difficult. I didn’t really need the directions as it’s very straightforward. That being said, in the full-color trifold directions sheet provided, step 6-figure 6 does not show part G on the side of the arm. I believe it needs editing for clarity. Maybe another step added or just a new picture. I didn’t check out the video because it’s was easy for me to assemble. I’m just being picky.I’m so impressed with this robust stand. It can be configured in so many ways! Also, It looks better in front of me than in the pictures. I know of no other stand that gives me the low height coupled with space for my myriad pedals and sturdiness of setup. I can’t speak to how it holds up to years of use as I just got it and never used one before. But let me say construction seems great. I love the size and weight of the square tubing. The bolts seem strong and the machining seems good. The rectangular plates of the upper tier that clamp onto the double crossbar fit extremely tightly. I needed to give them a few taps with a rubber mallet to get them to lay flush. I could see that being problematic for rapid setup. If I were regularly doing two gigs on a Saturday I would want to figure out a rapid process for setup and tear down. Like I said, I just got this, and haven’t used it on the gig yet, so this is speculation at this point, but to totally collapse this you would need to unscrew six bolts. Doesn’t sound like a lot but I could see myself becoming a bit impatient with the setup time. I am going to try to figure out how to transport so that I don’t red to disassemble so much. Maybe I’ll keep the upper tier arms connected to the double crossbar but I will need to create a solution to not having to re-screw the bolts into the lower leg assembly for transport. I know that’s a quibble but I know how I get at setup and tear down time. I’m envisioning some sort of a case with cut out foam that I can throw it in with space for each of the bolts so I don’t lose them or have them jiggling around while I’m driving. That will keep them performing better for longer, keep the stand from getting all scratched up and keep me from getting stressed out.I am using this to hold two 88 key keyboard controllers. The bottom one is perfect. I haven’t yet put the top controller on the second tier ( I left it at church) but I anticipate it being a bit floppy-not because of the stand per se but it is very light weight : an old M-Audio keystation 88. I believe some Velcro on the keyboard and the stand would be enough to secure it. I’ll have to see.I don’t know how feasible this would be but I have a design suggestion. This would be even more flexible in configuration and easier to accommodate an 88 key controller on the second tier if amBother 6 or 7 inches were added to the double crossbar, extending beyond the legs. One could then attach the second tier arms on the outside of the legs to accommodate a longer keyboard with better physics. Again, another quibble but I would feel better having a heavier keyboard’s weight held a bit farther from the middle. All that being said, I love the stand and the price. I thought it was made in the US. I wouldn’t mind paying double for this stand with the extended double crossbar and if it was made in the US. I am so thankful for this stand. I don’t believe there is a better stand available. Thanks folks, Very well done!

I am certainly not one to take the time write a review so the fact that I am do so says something about the quality of this product. To set the stage, I am learning piano and I got a Yamaha P-45B to replace a CTK-2400 Casio. The Casio only had 61 keys and I needed full 88. Anyway, I got the Yamaha and put it where the other was, on two TV tables side by side. The problem was, the new keyboard was so much thicker that my wrists were actually angled down. I also had the laptop I was using to look at the music to my right so I needed this to solve two problems--get the keyboard at the right height and have a place for to put my laptop ( 2 in 1 convertable) in front of me. Of course the stand needed to be strong enough support my new expensive keyboard. Enter the Griffin Keyboard and Laptop stand.Quality:This keyboard and laptop stand is VERY well made. One thing I really loved about it was there were no tools required to put it together. Everything has wing nuts and hand tightening screws.Versatility:The laptop stand has so many different configuration possibilities. Adjustments allow tilting forward or back and moving to the side.Leg Adjustment:The stand was just the perfect height for me at the shortest leg setting for anyone shorter than about 5',11" and similar thickness keyboard could have some issues.I would recommend this to anyone needed a versatile stand that can support a hefty keyboard laptop. Or, if you need to put another keyboard at the top, it would be strong enough for that, too.
