This was the only adjustable grip strengthener I could find on Amazon that went above 132 lbs (this one goes to 220 lbs). Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because mine broke when it set to around 180 lbs so I had to order another one. Other than that, you get used to how it feels and it is a great price.

I really wanted to love the ease of the individual finger pistol grip, as well as the ability to really torque up tension, but I have found that under high tension the individual finger holes are not ideal. The amount of finger separation does not feel natural. I have gotten used to that somewhat, but what I won't get used to is surface your fingers contact and pull on to squeeze the gripper closed. The surface is simply too narrow and angular--not literally angular, but nowhere near broad enough. I'm capable of crushing a lot more weight than where it's set at, but more weight would cut into the fleshy parts of my fingers too much to allow it. I initially had it tuned up farther but ended up bruising the undersides of my fingers on the narrow grip.A broader finger grip surface and narrower space between each finger hole would go a long way toward improving this product.

Yes, it does the job, but it’s not very comfortable or ergonomic as grippers should be designed. It’s very stiff to grip on lowest setting. Why Amazon sells LOW quality products? A missed opportunity that Amazon only offers a few options for any item you search and always CHEAP GARBAGE products. SUPPORT UNIONS. Buy local.

This device feels very sturdy and solid. It is light and easy to grasp a firm grip. I use it almost daily with no issues so far. I think this product is worth the value.

I like this strength trainer so far, and want to improve my wrist strength. This one is very good with just a couple smaller negatives to it. The ergonomics are good and the counter is nice (not something I need but hey easy to keep track), with resetting the count incredibly simple. And it works, with just a short time playing around with it and trying different grips with it, I could feel that I had been using it.Now for the negatives:1) As nice as it is, a little thicker grip padding would be nice, both for comfort while using it and more long-time durability. A minor gripe and no rating effect overall.2) The resistance adjusting. This is supposed to be 5-100kg or aka 11-220lb (to use the real system of weights and measures as Washington dreamed of when forming the idea of our country. Thanks Nate :D ). I have tried a different style of grip trainer that was supposed to be up to 22lb and felt like nothing, but this goes the opposite way where it out of the box felt a looooot more than 11 lbs, and no matter how I adjust it, there's barely any noticeable difference. 11 lb is tough, 220 lb is just very minorly more difficult. I get the impression that the knob may be disconnected or something as it comes to a full stop at either extreme so it should be one way, but I doubt it's being adjusted by more than a couple lbs and is just stuck somewhere in the middle. It's high enough that at whatever weight it is using, it'll be a good workout for awhile, but a bit disappointing not to have that seeming progression. It would also be really nice if there was a way to know where it actually is set. I'd take a readout of the weight selected over the counter any day. I almost feel like that is what the little markings (5-100) are supposed to be showing with the spring landing on the weight (which is what I originally thought would be the case), but the spring on mine doesn't seem to have moved at all, even when I can tell a bit of difference in resistance. Maybe mine is defective in that regard, but it's the only thing keeping this from a 5* [edit: looking at pictures from other reviews, this does seem to be the case. I will have to play around and see why mine is not adjusting and if I can get it to move. If yours does, then I can see this being great]

I broke my wrist and lost a lot of strength in my hand and fingers. This has really helped me regain my strength. It’s adjustable as you progress, you can make it more difficult yo squeeze.
