Grobet SWISS pattern files have been made in Italy for as long as I’ve been buying them. They are exceptional files, and with care will last many generations. Don’t confuse Swiss Pattern with Swiss-made. F.L. Grobet, the company namesake invented Swiss Pattern in 1836, and yes, initially a Swiss company, but it’s now an International tool company with many manufacturing facilities. I use files everyday in my work and these are among the best IMO. These aren’t your inexpensive Asian mass made tools.

The description says Swiss Made and they are not! This is a Grobet USA made in Italy which is a very different level of quality so be carefull because this is NOT a Grobet Vallorbe!!
