Nice large gun cabinet. Item was easy to assemble. Couple of minor issues. Had to remove and file sharp edges on lock bolt plate to allow easy lock and unlock. Had to use contact cement to attach led cabinet light and reattach magnet to one of the rifle mounts. For the price is an excellent gun storage case!

I normally never take time to review my purchases but this time I had to. I knew this was a budget friendly “safe”when I purchased it. This locker is beyond cheap. I’m not sure if I received a returned item but half of the metal arrived bent, and the screw holes are worn out and warped. I can’t even attempt to finish the assembly, and trust me, I work with tools everyday. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

re: Setting the user code for Model: G2-145D. I just want to reiterate what the reviewer named "misty" has mentioned because it is important. The instructions in the manual for "Step3 - Set The User Code" are incorrect. DO NOT hold down the setting button for 1 second. You just need to quickly press it. Otherwise it won't work. This new method also applies to "Step4 - Set Up The Second Code". Overall, the construction is sturdy and well-built. An experienced burglar with a high-quality drill would be able to defeat this safe easily but for normal situations, this is a very good theft deterrent. Once you use the supplied anchor bolts to secure it to a concrete floor and studs in the wall, it would be difficult to compromise. A very good bargain. BTW, more reviewers should list the actual model number they are reviewing because there are eight different models covered in this same review section. Some are flimsy & cheap and others are more expensive. I selected Model: G2-145D because compared to some of the others, it has eight locking bolts in the door, two of which stretch all the way to the top and to the bottom to prevent being pried open with a crowbar. Other models only have six locking bolts in the middle section of the door and no locking bolts on the top or on the bottom.

For the price, it’s great! We’re expanding our collection and needed to expand our safety measures. Works great and looks good where we have it. I just wish the bottom was a bit more weighted down to not tip over. We’re in a rental and can’t anchor ours to the wall yet. Soon we can and it won’t be an issue. But for the time being it is a tad wobbly. Other than that it’s perfect for what we need

Doesn’t fit as much as it looks like it will. But great for a temporary option. We got it just for now to keep our guns locked up before we invest in a larger safe for when we buy a house. We rent right now and are planning to travel so it’s a good solution for something that you need to move, as opposed to a 400lb safe. Does what it’s supposed to but not good quality if you’re not using it for a temp solution. The passcode lock is also battery powered and we lost our keys to it so I have no idea what we’ll do if the batteries die while it’s locked.

A nice lightweight safe for storage of a couple of rifles and pistols. Granted it doesn't compare to the 1000 lbs. Liberty Safe but at this price point it is fine for closet usage to keep kids and looky-lous out. There is a small removeable top shelf for storage of small valuables or ammunition.Packaging extremely well done and unboxing was non-eventful. The safe is only 60 lbs when unboxed. Looks nice and the assorted locking systems and back ups will work fine.

So I'm giving it five stars because it was fairly easy to assemble and does the job. However, if your need to hold five long guns, this is a tight fit. I was barley able to get everything in there. Also, handgun boxes will not fit inside. Struggled with the code set up. Tip for the code set up, the instructions say to hold the button down for 1 second. Do not hold it down, you just need to quickly press it. Otherwise you will spend 20 minutes trying to set the code.
