Sturdy light weight metal gutter guard.Bought these for the grate size that were big enough to stop leaves , seeds and debris from getting into gutters therefore allowing rain water to flow out easily.Metal frame is very sturdy yet flexible.Grate are are made of thick metal, will hold debris and branches on top of it early.Each frame has multiple holes to be screwed into gutter edge.No screws were provided with this item.Our existing plastic gutter guards have sinked in, due to clog holes and debris piling on top of them.On these I wished the edge lip was deeper/bigger to get better grip on the gutter edge when placing and installing them.I am planning to use sheet metal screws to secure them as the low edge is not able to hold these on the top of gutters securely.Hoping these gutter will last longer then the plastic ones.Wish they sent sheet metal screws with it to make it complete kit for end customer.These guards are highly recommended, if you want some thing that is strong and easy to install.

I should have gotten these gutter guards a long time ago. My neighbor has a bunch of huge oak trees all around my house, which are nice to look at, but they dump tons of seed pods into my gutters every fall. I was up on the ladder all the time cleaning them out.I got these because they mentioned they were 304 stainless steel, which shouldn't rust. They were actually pretty easy to put on. They've got holes already drilled and a little lip that hooks onto the gutter. I did use stainless steel screws like someone else mentioned, just to be safe. It took an afternoon, but it wasn't hard. We've had some rain, and these things work great. No more leaves or gunk in the gutters. I'm pretty sure these things will last forever, so I'm happy with them. If you're sick of cleaning your gutters, you should definitely check these out.

I should have known that 5.7 inches would be too big for my 5-inch wide gutters, but it said in the title, "5 inch" and in the description, "designed to fit on 5 in." so I figured there would be some mechanism to make it work on smaller gutters. Alas, there was not! The guards stuck out past the gutter, and the screw holes were too far past the edge of the gutter to install them.Eventually, I solved this problem by installing the guards on a slant and sticking the excess length under the edge of the roofing shingles. This held the guards in place well enough that I didn't feel I needed to attach them with screws, at least until I could assess whether they work in this unconventional configuration.Since the shingles used to droop over the edge of the roof but are now extended a good inch past that, because the gutter guards are holding them up, I'm worried that heavy rainfall may shoot out across the shingles and bypass the gutters entirely, but it's been dry for weeks and I haven't had the chance to see how they work! I will update my review after I've seen how they perform in rain.On the plus side, these are solid pieces of hardware that feel like they'll hold up over time. On the minus side, they aren't a perfect fit for every length of roof. I cut one in half to make it fit mine, and all the mesh popped out of the frame, and it took me a lot of time and effort to get it back together again.

I received these Hoopmon stainless steel gutter guards to help protect the gutters right under a massive oak tree, and they’ve done a fantastic job. The small mesh keeps leaves out entirely, so I’m not constantly dealing with clogged gutters or overflows when it rains. Even after a few storms and heavy leaf fall, these guards are holding up well with no buildup or blockages so far.The stainless steel construction is solid and seems to be built to last. Despite constant exposure to rain and leaves, I haven’t noticed any rust or corrosion, which is a huge plus and gives me confidence they’ll last through many seasons. They fit snugly over my gutters and were straightforward to install, so I didn’t have to spend hours getting them set up.These gutter guards have been a reliable solution for keeping my gutters clear under a big tree. If you’re looking to cut down on gutter maintenance, especially if you have large trees nearby, these are definitely worth it. Highly recommend!

Keeping our gutters clear of debris is essential for us: while we ourselves are on high ground, part of our backyard tends to hold water during extremely heavy rains...without gutters, all of the runoff from our house gets added, which aggravates the situation.We managed to get these and install them just before Hurricane Francine (2024) brushed by not too far from where we live. Thankfully, that was a near miss for us, but it still brought some wind—along with the inevitable leaves and tree debris, of course—as well as a good bit of rain. These guards did the trick in terms of keeping the windblown muck out of our gutters and keeping them flowing. We secured ours to the top of the gutter with screws, and so my hope is that whatever on top of them that doesn’t roll off or get blown off by the wind, I can just use a blower to get. The stuff clogging your gutters tends to build up over time, so I’m waiting for a bit longer—and for a severe thunderstorm—just to see how things go. But for now, I have to say that these are a great option for keeping your gutters clear and running!
