This is great for protection, helps to prevent direct hits to your lower back and it is light weight and you can still run fast and it wont slow you down. It is vented so allows the air to travel through. The design and image is cool and easy to install, comes with shoulder straps that hook up to your shoulder pads and has attachments that keep them secure. Great product. 2 Thumbs up.

These said youth back plate however they fit more like adults/teens. The design and quality are great just slightly too big for my youth player.
