Works great! The film on it was a PItA to remove but works. I used this to acclimate new salt fish in my system and as a fish trap using string and zip ties.

This does not fit together. It should be simple, but the holes and slots don't fit on one side. One long perforated side fits together easily with the solid clear bottom, but the other long perforated side has the slots cut in the wrong places and don't match the tabs that should slide into them so there's no way it will fit together.Also, it was supposed to arrive Thursday when I could have done the fish acclimation, but it didn't come until Monday so now I've waited an extra 4 days and still don't have a functional acclimation box.Aside from all of that, this is really too small now that I see it in person. Yes I looked at the measurements and they're probably accurate, it's just smaller than I expected. Overall very disappointed.

It's a great product & looks great only thing is the hooks don't fit a rimmed tank,from the looks of it you got to have a rimless tank that's not too thick. Instructions sucked big time so I had to figure out how to put it together myself. The protective film in the pieces were hard to take off, I would suggest having tabs on the film hanging beyond the acrylic piecea to better peel it if.... Outside of those two problems it's a quality built product.

Assembly instructions can be found on Amazon product page. Instructions on package are in Chinese only. It would be helpful if those instructions would also be provided in other languages, including English. Google Translate (see photos) was helpful in figuring out the correct order of assembly. Instructions emphasize that protective film should be removed from all pieces to make them transparent. It is sufficient to hand-tighten screws in order to make the box reasonably sturdy. Top lids open easily for feeding.

The thickness of it is good, it is not hard to figure out how to put it together. It’s not versatile because the hanging handles don’t fit the top rim of my tank and one hanging handle cracked when I tried. It is not transparent like some of the photos show. The holes are small so it doesn’t offer a filtration. The size is good for two medium sized fish.performance wiseI can’t clothes the hood to my tank with this hanging on, I will have to buy something else.sturdiness one handle cracked the first day.

Instructions are not the best. I recommend taking all the thin layer of plastic off all the plates on both sides. Then put the left side with the back and front with the provided screws and T-anchors. Then attach bottom, then lastly the right side and screw in with the T-anchors.The holes are slightly large, small fry’s may be able to escape. If you’re not using the middle divider, there’s 2 even larger holes at the bottom where this middle plate sits in. To prevent frys from escaping, I stuck a piece of cotton in the 2 large holes.I’ve trimmed some stem plants and stuck it into the bottom holes so it’s standing up. That and along with the floating plants will provide them with a nicer habitat.I have a rimless tank and it fits it perfect. It also has screws to hold and stabilized the box to the fish tank.Overall it’s a nice unit. I would recommend.

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and ANGRY!!Wish I could give this -10!!1. Not sure why this I considered a breeder box when the fry can get out unless you use the divider in the center. Pretty deceiving when you advertise that this can be used as a big Breeder box or a divided be brooder box when that is not true.On the bottom of the back end on the front ends there are 2 small rectangular holes/slits where the diver usually sits. But since this is advertised that you can use it without the divider I decided to give it a try.Today I was cleaning out one of my tanks I noticed that my platy fish had a crap ton of babies. As I was cleaning the Gravol the babies were popping up from it… So I like any fish parent I started collecting them and putting them in an acclamation box.Once I had caught about 18 that were popping up from the gravel I decided to stop because I wasn’t seeing anymore. Once I was finished getting the tank cleaned I decided I was going to put the fry in this breeder box. STUPID idea!!One by one I watched them slip through those rectangular holes and get eaten up by the adult fish. Not only was this irritating because I had taken so much time catching them all… But Devastating to watch them I’ll get eaten one by one.This piece of plastic 2 cent plastic is not safe for fry… Which is the intent of it in the first place.2. The assembly comes with no instructions unless I was sold a used one… You cannot use this on both front or half moon tanks because the screws on the hooks are very short and aren’t strong enough to hold it upright and Make it so the box completely submerges in the tank. So the lids float right off as well.3. The price for the quality is absolutely highway robbery. If you intend to keep your fry safe… Do… Not…Buy…This!!Unfortunately I threw away the box and everything it came with so I cannot return it. Lesson learned.
