I love how this allows the baby to work on hand-eye coordination using those fine motor skills. The colors are vibrant enticing the little guy to interact. The hammer allows for little fingers to grasp. It teaches the baby to place the ball in the coordinating color (or any hole) and watch it come down the slide. Lots of giggles and exploration! This would make a great gift!

I had high hopes for this toy. My son was so excited when I built it for him, but he is a baby and he wants to play rough so this did not last long. Building it was confusing too, without instructions. It is cheap plastic and could not withstand a 1 year old playing with it. I would skip this one and get a wooden version.

My nephew loves to play with it which means it was a good choice, but it’s a little hard to put together and it was missing a piece right out of the box.

I got this hammer-and-ball drop toy for my little one, and it was an instant hit! He quickly figured out how to push the balls through and loves watching them roll down the ramps. The bright colors and fun rattle inside each ball keep him engaged, and it’s a great way to work on hand-eye coordination.Assembly was fairly simple, but the instructions were just pictures, which left a little guesswork on getting things properly aligned. Once set up, it works well, but I do wish the plastic was a bit sturdier—it can come apart if a toddler gets too enthusiastic. The balls are a great size for little hands, but I’d keep a close eye on younger ones just in case.Overall, it’s a fun, interactive toy that keeps my little one entertained. If the construction was just a little more durable, it would be perfect!

I liked the concept of this toy, however it just falls right apart over and over again. The kids pull it apart too easily. It needed to be much sturdier. The balls were too small... they could fit inside my 3 year olds mouth snuggly..I was terrified of one of them suffocating on it if I turned my back, and therefore also scared of that with my babies as well. The colors are nice and vibrant. I love that the balls are like rattles when shaken. My kids did really like it. I just need it to be sturdier and larger balls for safety.

I ordered this for my 18 month old great niece. The colors are vibrant and he hammer and balls seem to be well made. It comes with 9 balls, 3 each of the three different colors. It does take a few minutes to figure out the parts and snap everything together. There is a basic instruction sheet but it is not clear which is the top and bottom of the columns, and you kind of have to hold the ramps in place while snapping the other parts in place. The thickness of the plastic is 'OK' but not really heavy duty. The only real thing that does not work well are the three decorative 'shield' that snap in front of the ball holes. They do not stay in place, but they really do not do much so the first to just go away. It is sturdy enough, but if the kid tries to pick it up by the blue top bar is could come unsnapped from the sides. Just something to watch for.As far a function, it is fun. they stick the balls in the top holders and then smack them down through the holders with the little plastic mallet. The ball drops through and then rolls back and forth down the ramps to the bottom where they can grab it and do it all over again.Should keep her busy for at least a little while.
