This hanging kit was perfect for our hammock swing chair, which we installed on a beam outside. It was easy to install and seems very strong. We have used it for about a month now.

Super sturdy.. didn't worry it would come off.. provides needed support even for weight of the swing and myself.. glad to have bought this.. didn't use the other parts that go with it as the spring and plate with screws would already do the trick for me.

I've been using this hook for about a month now and it's fantastic! I sit in my hammock chair ALL the time and I always feel totally safe and supported. I only use the spring hook with the hammock I have now because adding all the other pieces makes the hammock sit a little too low. The main reason I chose this one over the others is because 1) it was one of the few that I saw where the carabiner AND spring hook could both hook into the hammock chair and 2) the length of all the hardware together wasn't too long. That allowed me way more options to customize the length of the hardware to suit the height of my hammock stand. I definitely recommend it for anyone with a hammock stand.

Used it to hang a hammock chair in the basement. Attached easily to the joist and grandkids love using it as a swing or as a place to quietly read. Seems very sturdy.

Works well, heavy duty and sturdy. Only reason I took off a star is the narrow width is still a little wide to find the 2 x 6 in the ceiling. The holes are barely narrow enough so you’ve gotta perfectly find the stud or one side will get nothing but drywall, which wouldn’t be good!
