I have 5 different cages in 3 different style from this company.My son had to have a “male” hamster after reading the According to Humphrey novels..3 days after bringing home his “male” hamster and it had 7 tiny babies crawling around.Been kinda traumatizing/ kinda coolI have to say compared to what’s offered at pet stores or even a lot of cages on Amazon. I would recommend this brand 500x over again.This brand does have great quality stuff! I have had all these cages for awhile now- so I definitely have seen pros and cons.This is my least favorite one because of the lower quality plastic and the awkward way it folds down for cleaning- it actually makes it a lotHarder to clean . The other cage I have from this brand is the2-Floor Hamster and Guinea Pig Cage,Deluxe Rat Cage,Transparent Acrylic Small Animal Habitat. I have two small ones and two large one.I love these because the lid pops off easily and the plastic is so thick!!!It’s odd even though this one is the biggest it is a little awkward compared to the other two and the plastic quality is really bad compared to the other ones by this same company. The other two cages the acrylic lid pops off on the sides and you can lift the top for easy cleaning. . That is not the case for this cage. The walls fold down on top of each other and makes it really difficult to clean- would be wonderful if it was used more for occasions, Needed to be stored a lot or if someone had a small animal they travelled with a lot would be great.if I was able to get this on sale again I would buy another. In a heartbeat however It would be amazing if they made this cage size in the Deluxe model

I’ve read mixed reviews on the assembly of this cage . And that it had no directions. True there are no directions, but you just have to left up the side and push them together. The grill on the lid and the side door were a little difficult, but it took me about 5 to 10 minutes to put those together. I recommend this hamster house for your baby.

Arrived in a relatively flat box, I figured I’d be spending the next couple of hours putting together some flimsy piece of crap. I figured wrong. The sides are hinged on the base, and all you do is lift each side into place. There’s a locking mechanism in the design, and even though it’s not water-tight, it’s a very good fit. No rodents will be chewing their way out. Purchased for a hamster, and it’s about the size of four hamster cages. Probably better suited for a guinea big or similarly sized pet.

This cage is extremely esthetically pleasing.Extremely clean looking, and gives such a unique look over the wired metal cages.When it comes to the cage itself I have nothing to complain about with its looks, it's size, and its functionality.It's exactly what you see in the pictures and something I am super happy with.However there was one issue, if you want to clean this/wipe down the glass acrylic you need to be extremely careful on what you use.I went to give some finger prints a wipe with paper towel and it ended up leaving loads of micro scratches all over the cage.Something I have no realized through out the weeks of testing that my little critter has also been doing on the inside.This is because its Acrylic. I switched to a micro clothe which stopped this from happening, but there is no stopping little claws from doing it on the inside.

Lots of people don't know this, but putting animals in glass tanks isn't that great. Glass basically gets really warm when it's warm and really cold when it's cold. Acrylic wood and other materials can be much better sometimes. Not as nice to look at but they do the job. This acrylic tank is cute and has a decent amount of space for you to be able to decorate and stuff. Don't get it if you're planning to put soil in the bottom or water as it doesn't hold water, but maybe you could find a way to waterproof the corners or something if you wanted to do that. I liked the look of the cage but upon arrival the lid was cracked in the area where the metal attaches to the plastic. The cage is still usable and looks nice, but is cosmetically broken :(

I'm really glad I went with this product. Animals bedding doesn't get kicked out all over the floor and it helps reduce any odor. I also like that the animal couldn't slip out between any bars as it is a baby right now.I purchased a wheel for hedgehog and it easily fit inside.
