I know, you’re here because you’re comparing the $5 aftermarket model to the name brand. Save your money and get the Hansgrohe base plate over the cheap one. This one is made of thick metal and won’t collapse under tightening like the cheap plates do. This has thick sturdy mental with a rubber base for sealing/slippage compared to thin pliable metal and a thin foam filler.

Bought this to install with the Hansgrohe faucet to match other faucets already installed. Very sturdy quality material. Good value for price.

These are so great. Other brands have crappy lightweight "fake" metal that is probably just coated plastic, and with rubber seals that only go around the actual faucet. These are heavy and sturdy and the rubber seal covers the whole base. Love them.

Updated our bathroom faucets and went from a three hole with center faucet and two handles to the single hole faucet with a lever. This covers the unneeded extra holes and looks great too.

needed stability on a flimsy counter for a single hole faucet and this really does the job. Study, solid, rugged. Can take the compression required and very nice starlight chrome finish. If rigidity is required spend the extra money on this one!
