Very difficult to align and to get to turn onto the bayonet mount on the camera. Does not click securely into place. Very bad experience compared to how easily the ricoh ring goes on and off. Did not want to try to force it as it seems like it would break something. Cannot recommend at all. YMMV.

Sieht sehr schick aus, verleiht dem Ricoh GR III eine etwas andere Optik.Passt gut darauf, nur ein "Manko", in die Tiefe, also zur Kamera hin ist ganz, ganz wenig Luft, ca. ein halber Millimeter ist es kürzer als das Original. Sieht man aber nur, wenn man genau hinguckt.Nichtsdestotrotz, ich finde es ist sehr gut verarbeitet & es tut was es soll. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

When screwing the cap onto the extending lens, keep in mind that it will be quite tight. Perhaps this is even good, over time the effect will weaken and will be just right.

I got the Dark Grey for my GRIII Diary Edition to see if it would look better than the included black and white rings.The good thing is that the ring feels about the same in terms of texture, but the bad thing is that it doesn’t screw on or off as easily. It’s not too bad, but there’s definitely more resistance.The other thing is that it’s not exactly the same color as the camera especially in bright lighting, but I think I’m going to keep it and use it for now since it’s starting to grow on me.

Looks and feels competently made, fits a bit more securely than the one that came with the camera, and personally I think the grey colour elevates the look of the camera somewhat.Note that the colour has a very slight reddish-purple tint to it. With no context it just looks grey, but next to a truly neutral object it’s quite obvious.

Grey ring gives a nice subtle accent and fits well, almost too well. Mine is very difficult to remove but this could be a favorable flaw considering many have issues with the OEM ring falling off and getting lost quite easily.

Dieser Objektivdeckel passt einfach nicht, bzw. nur, wenn man rohe Gewalt anwendet.An der GR III gibt am Zierring eine Schraube, die minimal übersteht.Das ist aber so gewollt und auch an einer zweiten Ricoh GR II und III so ausgeführt.Hier bleibt der Objektivdeckel hängen und man kann ihn dann nur mit ziemlicher Gewalt auf den Zierring aufdrücken. Das macht keinen Spaß und ist auf Dauer auch nicht ohne Beschädigung der Kamera möglich.Wenn man mit aufgesetztem Objektivring versehentlich die Kamera einschaltet, und das "Objektiv" dann ausfahren will, wird es zwangsläufig an diesem extrem festsitzendem Deckel hängen bleiben und bestimmt auch Schaden nehmen.Der Deckel müsste minimal größer und somit lockerer sein.Ich kann dieses Produkt daher nicht empfehlen.

This is a great adapter to add to your GR III/X, allowing the use of 49mm filters and protecting the sensor from dust (an issue with this camera). The product is great, only marred by the terrible mount on the camera itself. At the time of this review, my GR III is brand new. The camera mount does not allow the adapter to fully click into place, so confidence of it staying put is moderate at best. If you are being careful, it will stay in place.

Great product. Stock ring is notoriously loose. This has a fit that is more snug.
