It was a good adapter for my PK lenses that I wanted to use on my EF system. The build material is definitely solid, and it is a good adapter. The only thing that is a bit of an issue is that the PK lenses do not lock into the adapter, so they can turn a bit sometimes. Another complaint that I have is that it is also hard to remove from both sides, but that does have the added benefit of making it secure. Overall, a good product for the price that breathes life into old lenses.

It's tight. The small latch must manually be pushed to allow it to click to exact latch. Also good luck taking it out it's really tough so be careful overall 3 out of 5 because it's so difficult to get instructions online about it . Pictures attached show location after it's been set correctly. If not it's gonna be loose

The adapter fit on the camera alright, a little tight, but it fit. However, it didn't fit on the lens snugly. So when i would adjust the zoom or focus mechanism, the lens would fall off.

I'm using this to attach my late father's Pentax lenses to my Canon, with great results! I'd rather have my dad still, but being able to make use of his camera lenses from 80's is fun!

A bit fiddly to attach it, but it works.

I have a few Pentax K mount lenses I was so excited to use with my new Canon EOS 2000D. The adapter arrived and fit my camera well (although I almost couldn’t get it back off), but when I tried to attach my Pentax K mount lenses, they wouldn’t attach at all. I took the adapter off my camera and tried to see if I could connect it directly to the lenses and it just fell off. It was bigger than the mount for the lenses. I will be sending this back and continuing my search for an adapter that actually works. Very disappointed.

This ring is easy to mount to the camera body or bellows body. It also mounts easily to the 50mm manual Pentax lens however removing it is NOT easy. There are no instructions included and only by viewing a video post on line about it was I able to remove the lens from the adaptor ring. There is a tiny leaf spring that must be compressed as the lens is unmounted, otherwise the 2 cannot be separated.I also discovered the ring does not fit on other Pentax lenses or aftermarket lenses designed for older manual Pentax cameras as the machining is slightly different. There is no auto focus or other auto ability with this adaptor ring.

Doesn't work with Canon 5D Mark IV. Just says lens mount error. Re-installed batteries, turned camera off etc. Always has the same error.

I tried the FotoDiox and it was too loose when twisting and adjusting focus and aperture (spring clip had too much room). However, it was much easier to take off than this one. I kept this one instead. It wasn't as hard to get off, as some people indicate. I rather have that than too loose. However, they are cheap enough, that you may consider just leaving on and getting new EF dust caps for your lenses. I am still between Pentax and Canon for my old gear and unsure of which way I want to go for a new camera. So, this allows me to have the best of both worlds for now. Although, you can't put K's on Canon . . .

Works as intended. It does take time switching between lenses but that is part of it, get a pentax if you dont want to hassle. It works perfectly on my aps-c canon but my lens bayonet hits the mirror on my full frame canon 6d mark 2. Nothing a dremel cant fix.

Fits super tight and is pretty hard to get out of the camera mount, but I don't know if there's a way around that. Seems to work fine.

To those who like it, adapting old manual lenses is a very charming past-time. I had an old 70-300mm f/3.5 with Macro, got this adapter and took some of my favourite shots of my career. Excellent build quality. No warp. Solid click in, on both sides.
