Hello, I bought two sets of these chairs and I opened the first set and one of the chairs was damaged and I was not able to assemble it. The second chair I was able to assemble the chair but the chair is rusty and paint is chipped all over plus the cover shade does not freely open and close and can not be pushed all the way down as shown in the description and it foes not stay in up position either. I am so disappointed 😞!!

I purchased the HAPPYGRILL Patio Chaise Lounge with Retractable Canopy a few months ago, and it has been a mixed experience. The design is sleek, and the adjustable reclining positions are a nice touch for finding the perfect lounging angle. The retractable canopy is a great idea and provides decent shade on sunny days.However, there are a few downsides. First, the assembly process was more complicated than I expected, with unclear instructions and a few misaligned holes that made it frustrating to put together. Second, while the frame feels sturdy enough for light use, it doesn’t seem as durable as I’d hoped for long-term outdoor exposure. After a few weeks, I noticed some minor rust spots developing despite keeping it under a covered patio.The comfort level is average—okay for short lounging sessions, but the padding could be thicker. I’ve had to add a cushion for extended use. Also, the canopy can be a bit finicky to adjust and doesn’t always stay in the desired position on windy days.Overall, it’s a decent lounge chair for the price, but it could use some improvements in durability, assembly, and comfort. It’s fine for occasional use but may not hold up to heavy or regular outdoor use.

Came with missing parts, the holes weren’t aligned at all. The canopy doesn’t lock in place and barely goes out and there’s no way to lock it back if you don’t want to use it. Poorly made. Wouldn’t recommend.

The directions are unclear and it makes assembly so freaking difficult. I cannot stress that enough it took four of us many hours to put together. That being said we do absolutely love them they had everything we were looking for in them. They look great. One note is that though you can take the cushions off in the rain you cannot take off the fabric on the awning portion. Doesn't bother me as it drys quickly and out butts arent on it. But just wanted to note that.
