Harmonic Balancer Install Tool for GM LS LT Engines
Install harmonic balancer on GM LS and LT engines with recessed threads for the crankshaft bolt.
Tool threads into the crankshaft until it seats, then tighten the nut down to push the crankshaft pulley into position.
The thrust bearing washer helps making installation simple and smooth.
Suitable for GM LS and LT series engines from 1997 to current (Gen 3, 4, and 5). Not for Gen 2 LT1 5.7 engines (1992-1997).

Worked for a few balancer replacements, but unfortunately after about half a dozen the threads have stretched to the point it no longer works. For the overall build quality it is nice and if it's a one time or occasional use it'll be fine, but for a regular maintenance deal it falls short.

This harmonic balancer tool worked well. It was used to install a crankshaft pulley on a 2004 Chevy Silverado. It is durable and it was a smooth process. (Review is for FWTW Harmonic Balancer Install Tool for GM LS LT Engines)
