I ordered this tool because so often the harmonic balancers do not come off easily, and I wanted a proper tool to apply the pull force, rather that prying where you shouldn't be prying. This tool has many arbors to install into the end of its main shaft, in order to accommodate various manufacturers crankshaft threaded ends, and 3 of each various sized bolts to provide tool fastening to the balancer hub. Nice. I wanted to make sure this tool design utilized a thrust bearing in the tool, because I know the amount of force needed is sometimes greater than a simple washer can provide. As you can see in my attached pix - there is a proper thrust washer! And if you change things around; this tool can also be used to install a harmonic balancer properly as well, saving you from having to beat on the balancer.I included a pix of how this tool kit arrived to me. As with many of these inexpensive blow molded tool cases; the case does not hold up well to rough handling. As you can see in my attached pix; someone even installed a piece of blue painters tape (before closing the case) to attempt to hold things in-place before shipping. Huh?? After I put things back to where they belong; the case does provide enough retention to keep things in-place as I carry the kit around my garage, so this was not worth deducting one star IMO.

GLEXQLAO Harmonic Balancer Puller Installer SetI have needed one of these bold on pulley puller sets for ages, and decided to go ahead and give this one a try. It is a good set, that includes lots of different bolts of various lengths to make the connection. It seems as well made as the ones I have borrowed from the part store, and will be a good addition to my toolbox. I tried it out on a pulley and it worked well.
