It works like it should, I use it in my soil mixes and propogations. My only problem with it is that I can never get the bag to seal back closed, otherwise it's a good deal for the size of bag. Also, be sure to wear a mask when using it because it's super dusty, but that's too be expected with this size of perlite pieces.

This is good perlite. I put a fiddle leaf fig, 3 rubber trees, and a pothos in this as a medium for propagation. I’ve got to say it is much better than water alone. I recommend this for a medium or an additive to soil for drainage. Great product for me.

I love perlite! It is excellent for succulents and most any plants that you put into pots. It doesn't take much.

I was frustrated by the in-store options at the big box stores -- they seem to only carry Miracle Grow perlite which is imbued with nasty and unecessary chemicals. This was the perfect affordable and natural solution. Happily made my own succulent soil mix by adding this to regular potting soil and rough sand and my plants are happy.

I should have paid more attention to size grade. Lots of small bits and perlite dust mixed in this bag. I have to filter the perlite bits by size before using.

If you’re looking for perlite to line the bottom of your Martha tent, beware of how easily this perlite turns to dust. It starts breaking while I’m scooping it up from the bag, so you have to handle it with a lot of care. It does seem to help my tent maintain humidity, so it’s not entirely useless. Didn’t get much for the premium price though.
