Not good at all. Returning because the fabric is atrocious. Feels rough and not natural. Draw string won’t even work because of roughness. Speaking of which… if you want practicality, elastic is a way better concept than drawstrings. Who wants to mess with a drawstring every time you shove a vegetable into pouch? Duh.

I was looking for an upgrade apron and this is perfect.-It came in well packaged and in great shape.-The fabric is very thick and sturdy.-It is very well made, all the stitches are very firm and there are no weak points.-The pockets are all good sizes making it great to not only hold a lot but even keep them a bit separated if you want.-The adjustability of the apron itself is great for many applications or size people.-The adjustable front strap is also great when you need to tighten it to keep things in.Overall this is a great size and while very simple also a lot more effective than others I have tried.

If I had a dollar for every t-shirt I've lost to the "hold the hem to create a kangaroo-like pouch to load up with tomatoes" method of harvesting produce, I would have at least $7 by now.So when I saw this, and saw that this was not only this but this in purple, I was sold. The fabric is a nice heavy canvas that is more than up to the task of bearing the kind of weight associated with harvesting, carrying garden tools, etc. The purple is a beautiful shade of purple. The seams are clean, even, and appear sturdy. There are only two things that make this a bit awkward. The first may go away with time and use. It's that the drawstrings on the front pocket don't want to close easily. At first I thought there might have been a misplaced stitch preventing the drawstring from moving, but it's just stubborn, likely from the thickness of the canvas. The thickness of the canvas is also part of the issue with Thing #2. The waist tie isn't very long for something that's as wide as it is. I have a 29" waist and while there was what seemed like sufficient length to tie this around myself with a bow, the thickness/stiffness of the canvas combined with the width of the strap made it awkward and there was very little strap left when I finally managed. So this apron may work well for smaller waists, but if your waist is bigger than about 31-32" you may not be able to tie the strap in a bow. I tried tying it in a simple knot and got a usable size of 46" before the knot just didn't feel secure anymore, so that's about the maximum waist this will accommodate.

I like this apron, but it could use some improvements. For one, it does tie around my waist with some room to spare (I'm a woman, size 16), but anyone with a larger girth might have a little trouble. I like the pockets and the big harvest pocket, but it's somewhat difficult to gather up the ties on the harvest pouch because the ties are made from the same canvas-like material and the friction makes it hard to adjust. I need to be able to tie it up so my veggies don't fall out. Otherwise it's pretty functional and I'll definitely be using it for the rest of this harvest season.

Review of “Harvest Apron, Adjustable Gardening Apron for Women & Men, Garden Picking Apron with 3 Pockets, Canvas Harvesting Apron for Weeding, Home Cleaning, Gathering Eggs, Vegetables, Fruits” Thick fabric with nice texture. Strings are not SO long that you have to double them back in front so they don’t drag underfoot (I’m a petite 5’-5” individual so experience this with many aprons). However with a 32” waist there’s also not a lot of slack because the tie straps are so thick. Again, fine for me, but may be a challenge worn on a larger waistline. The drawstring portion is difficult to pull/cinch for the bag, but I don’t imagine I’ll be pulling it tight that often, as it already stays closed enough by design. Good quality for what you spend.

My wife has been looking for an apron for her gardening. I was going to get one from a big box store, but she didn't want the bright orange, nor did she want one that also went up over the torso. Happened upon this item and she was pleased. It is on the large size. The apron wraps around more than half way around (a couple of inches on each side past center line). Other than the size she's pleased. Note, my wife has a small frame, so your mileage may vary.

Even with the small garden that I have, harvesting has been a challenge without a basket or bag or something to hold all the squash, herbs, lettuce, and tomatoes. And neither a basket nor bag is ideal because they still require a hand or wrist to carry. I had never heard of a harvesting apron before, and I am so glad I found this one! It makes harvesting so much easier and keeps both of my hands free for the task. I do have to be careful not to lean too far forward (I have a large raised bed, and I don't want to crush my veggies in the apron against the bed walls), but that's easy enough to do as long as I remember that I'm wearing it. As we head into cooler weather, I also love the fact that this apron can easily hold all of my clips when I cover the garden, and makes uncovering the garden easier, too.The apron is well made -- it's a heavy-duty canvas. Purple is my favorite color, so that's a bonus, too. :)I highly recommend this apron!

I like the canvas material, it seems strong. The waist ties around the back but may not be long enough for some people. I'm a size 14 and it is enough to tie up but isn't that much longer to fit bigger waists. The harvest pocket is huge but it has ties that is very hard to adjust because it's made from the canvas material and doesn't flex or stretch so you have to slide the pocket fabric to adjust the size and tie it up.
