Looked forward to the arrival of the vectis. I have several Hatsans in big bore and love them. The reviews led me to this one. Overall good shooting gun. But more built for kids. The safety is cheesy plastic and floppy loose. The pop up sights belong on a toy clunky over large plastic very child like. The gun is very light? Too light with a toy like feel. The magazine fit is loose and sloppy. All that said, the lever action is nice and the gun shoots good. Would have prefered they left the plastic off the barrel and stuck with the hatsan integral silencer metal barrel shroud. This adds to toy like look and feel of the gun.

Looking at reviews I wasn't expecting much with accuracy. Got the gun for the lever action but after shooting it I am so confused on the bad reviews on accuracy this thing was lights out at 50 yards! it's becoming one of my favorite air guns! I have loaded and shot 10 different types of pellets through the gun with zero issues.

We have a big problem with Peacocks in Florida. Great way to eliminate them! Totally legal in Pinellas County to use in eliminating them! Quiet and accurate!

Hatsan vectis is definitely a keeper it's a stout rifle the cocking mechanism is easy smooth an surprisingly you can stay on the stay on target an still cock it plenty of power I have the 22cal accuracy is great Hatsan makes a good product o own 5

It was point and shot out the box the only negative was when I cleaned it tge barrel hard rust but a good clean and polish and with the h&n rabbit magnum II am sure I can headshot hogs and coyotes at 60 to 70 yards for clean kills but i carry it all over the farm killing rabbits pigeons crows squirrels rats nutria even a fish man this thing is awesome even showing my kids how to shoot ad gun safety with it it awesome it too powerful for regular pellets this is a slug pcp

The rifle itself is great. It hits very hard. The accuracy is great. I paired it with a Hammers 4-16x40mm and it’s exactly what I wanted. The only issue I had was Fed-Ex lost my fill probe, both magazines, and the single shot tray. After I contacted VM Express and spoke to Dave (thank you Dave), I had all the parts within a couple of days. So if you have any problems just contact them and I’m sure they will be as helpful to you as Dave was to me.
