You can fit 4 Volca’s in this fine if you are willing to let the top two protrude off the top an inch and a half. They are in there solidly enough. The sides pinch in enough to hold them well.I drilled and deburred and painted a 1” hole in the middle to hide my cables going to the lower Volca’s. This is tough drilling as it’s about 1.5mm heavy steel and you will need cutting fluid and metalwork experience no question. This is not light aluminum hole cutting like you might do for guitar pedals.Another thing you could do with these, while they won’t mount as-is in a 19” rack, they are almost exactly 19” wide and you could replace existing rack rails in a cabinet with this as a 5 or 6U rack tray for Volcas etc. You might need shims to make it totally solid. You would want to drill additional mounting holes in the sides for this (also so you could go back to using the existing risers). But it’s solid steel already bent and thought out for you.

The product was expensive and was missing parts. Contacted seller. No help at all.

This is an updated review. Originally I felt slightly misled about this being able to fit Elektron boxes like the Syntakt/ Digitakt side by side because it couldn’t. I noted that it was my fault for not manually measuring, but seeing that it could fit the Octatrack comfortably I assumed it would fit their smaller boxes of very similar size as well. I’m updating the review because with some finagling by flipping the side slats to point inward rather than outward it is able to fit them in. That means the bolts are slightly underneath the devices, and its not as snug and secure as I was expecting, but its better than having to take them off entirely.Other than that issue I think this is a really great shelve/ rack for gear. Its very solid, easy to assemble, customizable, modular, and overall I am highly satisfied. I have 2 rambunctious cats who roam the studio and with this I finally feel comfortable leaving my gear out knowing it is safe and securely housed.

The stand is great, the original package was missing parts but the vendor/manufacturer was able to ship me the missing components.A couple of things to note if you're planning to use this as a desktop pedalboard:(1) There is no rubber feed included so it may slide on your desk, but the bottom is well made so it didn't scratch up my desk, and rubber feet or cork pads are easy to buy on amazon.(2) Yes Mod Riser is stable without the lower tier Mod Base stand.(3) The top of the stand is about 7.75'' so straight TRS connections will work better than right angled connectors.Overall, I'm happy with the stand, it fits my needs better than the Ultimate Support MDS stands since I'm able to use the Mod Riser alone without the Mod Base. It's also metal/sleeker than the MDS for about the same price.

Just received my second product from Headliner Los Angeles and I am once again impressed with the quality of construction. I honestly have low expectations when I buy this kind of stuff without seeing it first, but this brand continues to impress and I will certainly look for it in the future.
