It is made well and is very sturdy and comfortable. We did not use the back of the chair yet.Be careful with the blue foam where it is thin around the handle. It is easy to lift off when you pick it up.

We love our shower chairs. Showering feels safer. Being able to sit when feeling unsteady helps us feel safer as we enjoy showering. Also, easy for daughter to take out of the shower when she takes her shower.

The directions were a little confusing and print was too small. We just figured out easy, 4 of the screws for the legs and 5 to fasten the seat on. But this shower chair is made way better than the others like it. First off the seat material is thicker. This is the only one that had a straight flat seat and not curved up at the ends. The curved handles I had before both cracked off, material was just too thin. But I wish they offered two styles one with the middle seat hole which I do not need and one without. But overall I am very satisfied and confident it will last a long time.

This shower chair has it all! Sturdy, no slip chair for your shower. It was pretty easy to put together and had great instructions. There's an opening in the front to make it easier to wash your privates. There's also a place to secure your shower wand so you don't have to get up and down. The seat has a no slip surface. Good product and good price. The legs are adjustable, I'm tall so I adjusted the leg height accordingly! Good luck and I hope you enjoy your new shower chair!

The value for the money for this was excellent. It feels very stable Sitting in the shower using this, it was easy to put together and I am a plus size woman. I was worried about it. It’s durability and strength I give it a nine. The width of the seat is wide and the anti-slip mat on the top helps keep you keep Your body from slipping. I do recommend this

I’m having knee surgery and I need a shower chair to make bathing in the weeks following that easier for me. The chair itself is sturdy, and I love that it comes with a set of wider feet for added stability if needed. The padding is nice and keeps you from feeling the shock of sitting on a cold seat. Assembly wasn’t great due to shoddy instructions but it wasn’t too hard to figure it out. The issue that I have with it is the size. I have an older home with narrow tubs and no matter how I turn it the chair is just too big to maneuver around when reaching for items etc. Also, I’ll need to keep my leg elevated and dry for a while and the size of this chair just makes it difficult to position my body in the right way. I even tried it in my spare bathroom that has a stand alone shower with no tub and its much too big and bulky in that shower as well. The chair is a nice chair, I just think that it’s too bulky for my needs.

So we are replacing the old one with this one and I have to say so far I really love it, I don’t know how long the “cushion/pad”will last but it’s super sturdy, pretty easy to put together, it’s a good size for a small shower. The cushion/pad keeps it from being slippery when it’s wet, I consider it over all very safe for an older person, I use this one specifically because my legs are not the best, so I can’t stand long. It’s a good price and it’s very helpful. I really like that this one isn’t curved like most this size.

I had flat foot surgery and had to be completely non-weight-bearing for 6 weeks on my foot. I needed a chair for the shower and bought this one. This chair was very nice for my showers, especially when sitting and washing my hair. I exchanged the smaller feet for the round, larger feet and I was very happy that I did so. My shower has curved sides, and the chair would have not been stable if I did not switch the feet. Also, it is extremely hard to get the regular feet back on and level, so it is easier just to go with the round ones. The round feet curved up along the sides of my bathtub and supported me from fallingand from feeling unstable. It was easy to install together, even though the directions were a tad bit hard to understand, but I was able to get it successfully. I weigh mid 200s so it's supported me just fine. This says it could support much higher than that for weight and I believe it. I did have problems at first using the chair because I did not have the leg strength from my usable leg to push myself up from the chair, so at first I wish I had had arms on the side, but, overall, it was nice to have an open chair to be able to move around on instead of being constricted because of arms or back bars. If you feel the same way, then I suggest having a good cane, or two, with a solid rubber base to help push you up and help you stand up from sitting. After getting used to it for around three weeks, then I did not need my cane anymore and was able to push myself up off the chair. I like the height, and put it all the way to the top rung. It's great to kneel on and face the shower head when you are not washing your hair. I do want to caution that the seat can become slightly slippery when wet, even with the blue cover on, so be careful when putting your knee on it or getting up from sitting on it, especially right after surgery and you aren't used to it yet.
