First of all, don't do what I did! When the package arrived, the cover is folded inside-out, so you don't see the brown leatherette, but a light slate blue color. I immediately sent a "return" message to Amazon. 5 minutes later, I recognized my mistake! Needless to say, I kept the cover. I have an 8' table. It fits beautifully, covering the top and edges. I was worried about some negative reviews on the pattern on the leatherette. Although there is a mottled pattern, (and it does look somewhat giraffe-like!), the color is a beautiful dark brown, and looks like leather. Yes, of course the folds initially show (there are no "wrinkles" per se). In the first 5 days it was on the table, these began to fade and fall out. Unless you're a perfectionist (in which case, see the "ironing" solution in other posts), it is fine the way it is, and fits and hangs beautifully on the table. Delighted to have a cover that looks expensive, but isn't.

This product is good quality, looks really nice but it isn't as heavy duty as it could be. But we found a way round it and put some eye holes in and put some bunji ropes to feed under the pool table to stop it from blowing away. Now it looks great.
